Jersey Name Patches
Im sure this is burried deep in the archives somewhere...
Thought MDen would do it for graduated players but they told me no. Looking for somewhere local in MI that does name patches for jerseys, any info would be awesome (price, turn around time, quality).
Thanks
Footballfanatics or NCAA shop. Former players are allowed but for whatever reason, MDen doesn't do it.
I would think mden doesn't do it because then they would have to give the player a cut of the sales.
I guess that explains why the Anthony Thomas jersey I got for Christimas in 2002 didn't have his name on it.
I did see a fan at the big house last year wearing a Woodson jersey that had his name on it. I wondered where he got it.
I have a Nike Michigan Woodson jersey with his name on the back. It is a special legend edition jersey. Its flippin sweet!
This is my favorite patch of all time. I earned it for hurting myself while carving a wooden pickle for Arbor Day. Man, that was the best Arbor Day ever…. Good times Bro.
What is it with you and sandwiches?
Jersey-free since '03.
Hope this helps. Little known fact that a sports store in Sturgis, Michigan puts the nameplates on the Michigan jerseys. So if you were looking to put nameplates on the back of Michigan jerseys, the place is called Sportsarama. I was told this by a member of the athletic department and went there myself. Hope this helps.
I live about 20 min from Sturgis and used to go in there quite a bit for various sports gear. Found out they did the name plates after winning an autographed Desmond Howard Rose Bowl jersey from a Big Brothers Big Sisters auction.
I always thought it was odd that a little place in Sturgis would handle that.
I'm from Sturgis and I had no idea that Sportsarama did this. Fun fact, Chance Stewart's family owns Sportsarama.
Thats awesome man! appreciate it. Ill check them out.
I hope this thread doesn't lead to any lame ass, Archie Bunker humor
Why would anyone make offensive jokes in this thread?
I have a maize and blue buck killer patch for ya.
We don't need no stinkin' patches!
I will say the same thing I said in the last thread. JoAnn Fabrics is your best bet, and cheapest.
for real? they do that there???
Not sure if you're joking but you can buy all the supplies and do it yourself. All you need is an iron.
That you're going ruin the finest jersey of them all by ironing letters on. They've got to be sewn!
No, i was dead serious. My wife put my old nike patched versions in the drier and ruined them and i wanted to patch some of my old nike non patched versions. Def would want them sewn tho. I really had no idea. Im gonna have to do some research now...or simply try and find a non-knockoff version of the old nike sewn number 7s...my number.
Decent selection. High quality. Great price. My Burke jersey is sweet
Yeah, lets all order Chinese counterfeits!
what you would consider to be low quality, given this is high quality in your opinion. yikes...
so we don't hate Jersey now?
