OT: Red Wings vs. Blackhawks Open Thread

More playoff hockey!  All fans are welcome here, but I have to make a confession.  I need to get it off my chest:

GO.  RED.  WINGS.

Have a good Wednesday, everyone!

He turned down a big multi year deal from Pittsburgh to sign with Detrioit because he wanted to win the Cup and knew that signing with Penguins again for that deal would've prevented them from keeping that team intact to make a Cup run. He has signed with teams with the one goal of winning the Cup and I'm happy he was able to do so in Chicago. He has been nothing but class and a great team player while in Chicago.

Sergei was my favorite Red Wing growing up. People need to get over it. He thought he was good enough to be a first option and I can't blame him. He was the most talented player on the team. He was truly a two way player. I forgot which coach/front office guy said throw him on the blueline for a full season and he could win a Norris.

one of the reasons ill never go back to that city for a game ever again. Bears fans are among my top 10 for most obnoxious and rude fan bases in the NFL. Ill let our current record vs you though speak for itself it's all good.

Don't waste given chances! Especially after the way that Anaheim series went. You get chances like that, bury it!

Not a bad first period.  Some good chances and I like the physical play the wings were bringing.  The only physical play chicago really brought were head shots...

I'm glad to see us going out there and hitting again. Kronwall is gonna pop somebody out there tonight "cough" Shaw or Rostival. He's almost connected with somebody tonight he won't miss twice. Detroit needs to start being an enforcer like team again. I love seeing our boys terrifying our opponents with big hits. When McCarty, LaPointe, Fischer and Murphy played they used the body and for the opposition it was ugly.

I like the way the Wings have been playing offensively over the past 4-5 games, but if we keep turning the puck over in our own zone like we have been, we have no chance of advancing.
