Peppers breaks NJ state record in 200
The man is fast. He ran a 20.79, breaking the NJ record, and reportedly the 5th best time in the nation. Man, would I love to see that speed in the Big House. Article from NJ paper:

Also a talented track athlete, Peppers set the New Jersey Non-Public Class A outdoor 100-meter dash record with a time of 10.77 seconds.
For football, that translates to "fast, but he wouldn't pass Denard on most plays". Denard ran a 10.44 in high school. The Michigan track record is 10.22 for comparison.
His 10.2 as stated below is nothing short of sick for a HS Senior. He will have enough breath left to laugh at receivers while they try to shake him.

Is he being recruited for track as well? A guy that fast at this age could contend for the NCAA title, and possibly be a candidate for the Olympics if he keeps developing.
That is awesome. A 200m dash is far from applicable to football, but it speaks to his overall athleticism. Go Blue already Jabrill!
A 10.2 in the 100 if true is pretty damn fast too, and a bit more relevant to the football field.
If it was a 10.20, he would own 2nd place all-time, for Michigan Track records. Faster than Woolfolk, faster than Wheatley, faster than Denard. I think we can go out on a limb and say it might be just a bit relevant. The things that a stop-watch can't measure I'm willing to leave to the coaching staff.

I just watched his highlight video and I've never seen such gamebreaking shiftiness and ability to play multiple positions (RB, WR, LB, and CB) in one player. He's like Reggie Bush and Honey Badger all in one, but better since he's got a bigger frame. More than anyone left on the board I would like Peppers to commit to play for the Wolverines. I already miss Denards video game playmaking and I think Peppers can bring that same showtime brand to Ann Arbor. With Mattison's mad scientist blitzing schemes and Peppers ability to get through and around small spaces, our defense will be SCARY good.
