OT: Titus Young trying his best to impress and re-sign with Lions
"..my fantasy football hookup.."
Wait...You either A) Hook-up with a Fantasy Football rival from time to time? or B) purchase Fantasy Football as if it's an illegal drug? Stories, please.
chris webber bio. i'm interested
I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering I work at a school and see many kids in the office frequently for committing transgressions over and over again, but man, how hard is it to stay out of trouble Titus?
couldn't happen to a nicer fella...
You can remove the player from the lions, but you can never remove the lion out of the player
Chas Rogers.
Titus Young Sr.
there goes that career.
At least the lions didn't hold onto him as long as Charles ''I blew erryday'' Rodgers.
He was signed by St. Louis, right? ....Titus Young, former St. Louis Ram....
after the Rams realized who they had signed.
In the words of the late, great John Wayne....
"Life is hard. It's harder when you're stupid"
Again I'll set the over/under Wonderlic score line at 12. I mean you have to be seriously dumb to do the things he's done over the past two years and literally toss away tens of millions of dollars in the process.
And people wonder why the NFL gives everybody a standardized intellegence test. The sad thing is they then ignore the results and wonder why they have trouble with players down the road.
but did he actually take Federal Reserve notes and fling them away from his person as shown?
Or was it, you know, more figuratively tossing money? He seems like an idiot, so maybe it was indeed literally tossing millions away.
Either way, at least I'm not a Lions fan.
No it was literally. I believe that is Titus himself in the Gif you posted.
But seriously....there is stupid and their is Titus level stupid. I'm pretty sure Vince Young thinks he's a dumb ass.
Titus Young is proving that, in some strange language, "Titus Young" means "Entitled POS." What a tragic waste of oxygen.
At this point you just have to figure that he has some sort of mental illness.
"“I didn’t talk to anybody, I didn’t call 32 GMs and try to get a seventh if (draft pick) or anything like that,’’ Mayhew said on Feb. 7. “It’s my job to know what his value is and he didn’t have any trade value.’’"
For Young, that's probably the most telling statement - he had destroyed his value as a player through his own actions, and this statement was made back in February. The Lions saw no point in even trying to assemble a trade.
Getting arrested twice in 15 hours doesn't exactly work to recover any of that value either. Actually, that achievement may very well have shut the door on any useful NFL career period, or at least gone quite a ways to doing so.
The worst part of this is that he does have a family (his son was born last August, I think) - if nothing else, hopefully he can get some help for their sake, although this might require some sort of galvanic revelation that Young obviously has not yet experienced sadly.
Impressive.
He'll be serving time in prison by the time he's 35, and he won't live beyond 60. The trajectory he's currently on is labeled "crash and burn."
But no, of course not....that's our Titus!
