True- its on the front page- but that post has lots of info on it- and the board discusses topics more.
Plus, I don't mind discussing how all our recruits are top-150 for a second time!
The # of threads that are posted these days annoys me. Neg away, just get the heck off my lawn when you're done.
yeah, hard to believe there are so many threads during the off season huh?
Yup, especially when half the posts are about MSU, ND, or Ohio.
dont look 2 and 3 threads up.
Son of a bitch. If only Brian would have made me an MGOBOARD Mod, this never would have happened.
What are you OK with and what would you prefer not be posted, and of course why?
Doesn't matter what I say here, it's going to get negged. So, the only thing I want to see posted is Billy Madison quotes
O'Doyle Rules!!!
That Veronica Vaughn is one fine piece of ass.
A guy I know, him and her got it on!
I'm curious to hear what people like vs dislike. I've only ever created 2 threads I think, so I'm curious what content people think is good vs bad. Plus, I already got negged just for asking you and you didn't get negged for replying to me, so I may be in more danger than you & I don't care so...
ESPN is really low on OSU's commits so far. It's crazy how Berger, for instance, is the #2 OLB to Scout, but the #26 OLB to ESPN. What did Meyer do to them before he left?
Maybe ESPN is bad at ranking recruits. Or maybe Urban told them he'd love them forever, then bailed.
He had sex with all of them.
And he gave Luginbill a "twisting sally" right in the hair.
Only two players in the state of Ohio cracked the ESPN 150. I think the state of Michigan had 4 or 5.
Damon Webb #57. I haz a sad...
Please. If we get Peppers or Adoree, we'll forget Webb ever existed. Plus you have Westphal out there.
Jabrill Peppers #2. Feel better.
Even if/when we get Peppers, this still stings. I'm glad some aren't afraid to admit the loss.
Hopefully the poor kid recovers from the blow to the head that he must have sustained and turns Blue.
Does anyone see Webb as a future transfer opportunity? It seems to me like he will be burried on the depth chart until his senior year. Does anyone see him beating out Apple/Conley/Burrows? If he gets burried and frustrated, why not come back home? Granted if we somehow land both Westphal and Peppers we not have room either, but can we be that lucky?
In your hypothetical he's not good enough to make the field for Ohio, is Michigan's defensive backfield so bad that we want guys that can't crack their two-deep? I would argue it is not.
Plus Webb is really good. He'll compete with and be right in the starting mix with all their talented DBs.
Of those three (Apple, Conley, and/or Burrows), which would he beat out? Do you think he'd be satisfied being a nickel or 2-deep player and only starting one year?
Even if he does transfer, what makes you think he will transfer to Michigan? Osu to Michigan or Michigan to Osu transfers are rare to begin with. The last one I can think of is Justin Boren and that came during the coaching change.
In most cases coaches might restrict the schools that a player can transfer to.
To answer you question what makes me think he'd go to Michigan?...because he goes to Cass Tech, similar to Boren in that he went to Pickerington.
Pick one. He's just as talented as all three guys you listed. Not a single one of these guys has played a down of college football so its quite a bit to assume Webb can't be as good or better than any or all of the other three.
Well, he's younger so he is a year behind them, Apple and Conley are quite highly ranked, even higher than Webb, and Burrows is just a few spots behind him the ESPN 150, and they are all a little taller and bigger (minus Conley who is only taller), which is sort of why I was surprised he wanted to go there in the first place.
You're a quality person.
If they're all that talented, they'll find a way to get them all on the field. Any one of those guys could play safety if need be. And if they're all so good that Webb can't get on the field, my guess is one or more leave a year early for the NFL, leaving Webb two years to start.
Maybe I am way off base. Apparently Webb's mother has created a website to help OSU recruit after he saw how well Morris used social media to recruit last year. Have a look...
It may not have been a good idea to allow comments. How long do you think this goes before it gets mobbed by angry Michigan fans?
Maybe someone can correct me on this, but it seems to me that Harris is ranked a bit low as compared to other sites/analysts. However, this is yet another awesome start for Hoke and Co. I was especially excited about Speight since there was some intial questioning about his worthiness around these parts.
In a class of 27, Michigan's 2013 class had 10 #ESPN150 commits. The 2014 class already has five: http://es.pn/11EEp0a
Knowing how rankings go unless Cole hits the circuit hard he will fall of the 150 list after a few updates. We had several players last year that were at one point on the 150 list that did not end up there at the end.
It's only natural that numerous players who are ranked highly will drop as the process continues. When you're ranked up there, there's almost nowhere to go except down.
i think we will see a lot of movement with our commits.i dont think Cole and Ferns plan on doing the camp scene so they will drop some. i think Harris and Wilton will start moving up the board because thise 2 will be on the camp scene.
Did Wilton say which camps he is going to attend? I remember him saying that he prefers to go work out in CA with his QB coaches rather than attending national camps run by rivals, nike, etc.
Here's the full list of the guys Michigan has offered:
