Sorry if there is a rule against posting freep stuff...this my first post.
to make is there. Proud to say this kid played for Michigan.
Go pro, get your nest egg started, come back and get your degree. Enjoy life and promise to come back in 20 years so old guys like me can give you the standing ovation you deserve.
young Mr. Burke, and that is that he makes the best possible decision for himself.
Gold jacket, green jacket, who gives a shit?
he gone
thing when Lewan was deciding and everyone was saying he was gone ... Michigan men are different, I have a funny feeling about Trey...he wants titles.
Hail
don't like to say players are NBA ready until they finish school (more like if they finish school), but this is the one case I will say this is definitely a young man that is ready to take the next step. He played with poise, aggression, and a will to win this season, and I am so proud to call him a Michigan Wolverine. He will be missed.
I guess the fact that he hasn't outright decided to leave yet is a positive.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET OUT OF HERE.

Keep standing in Aaron Craft's general direction when you say that. Thanks.
So many players just came out and said they were entering the draft after the tourney. or does he have to go to the Ann Arbor YMCA and announce that he is taking his talents to Auburn Hills?
If not, I wish this kid all the luck in the world. He has earned every dollar of his NBA contract, whenever he decides to go.
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray like hell Trey Burke we'll keep
But if he leaves and I awake
May he hit every three he takes.
Love that kid. Wish him the best whatever he does. Matter of fact, I change my mind. I want him to go pro and make the big bucks. This isn't about what is best for Michigan, it's about what is best for Trey Burke. He's already given his best for Michigan. If he comes back, I'll be paranoid all season that he'll get injured and jack up his NBA future. <please Trey Burke don't read this..... Mom give me my schizo medicine... lithium... whatever...>
He's going pro.

By "etc" I assume you mean Spike?
Does it seem strange that he'll announce the day before pro evals come back?
I can't tell whether that suggests he'll stay or go.
Though I'm getting the same weird feeling I had about Lewan. Please please please please please...
Best of luck Trey, and thanks for the memories !

that says he's leaving is flamebait?
hello Mlive.
I shall forever call him by his Christian name, Alfonso.
He's set a new standard for the team, created history and will contnue to make M proud even in the NBA. All the best to you Mr. Burke!
I'm really surprised there is a "decision." Taking the "Burke is a top seven guy" meme that is popular right now, here would be his slot:
Year 1 (guaranteed) $2,331,700
Year 2 (guaranteed) $2,436,600 (total $4,768,300)
Guaranteed money if he comes back and sustains a career-ending injury: $0.
Most picks sign for 120%, because the slot has "wiggle room," and contracts can be from 80-120%. That means that Trey would make $5,721,960 minus his agent's cut. This is before any endorsements he might get.
This money is guaranteed by simply waiting for the process to happen, passing the team physical, and signing a contract.
If Trey Burke was your son, what would you recommend for him?

Personally I don't think there is any chance he returns. He was pretty much gone after last season and his stock has never been higher. Ergo, I think it's reasonable to assume he leaves. He is being very respectful through the process and I think that's awesome.
