Notre Dame Video Of All Varieties Comment Count

Brian

Via MSC, the Mathews catch and the aftermath:

The final three plays of that drive are also on the tubes in high definition; there is also WOOOOO stadium video of considerable length; skip to 6:20 for the big one:

The MGoVideo torrent is delayed but there is one at Ten Yard Torrents; you'll have to register there to download.

UPDATE: oh, and here's the hype video for the last game, which was perfect. They should use it again next week with the Forcier-to-Mathews throw at the end.

UPDATE UPDATE: Wolverine Historian's got a three-parter up: Part One. Part Two. Part Three.

I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but thank you Brian for inventing the CK Award which has once again terrorized a hyped team and its overzealous followers. I can't help but think that the CK spotted us at least a point or two yesterday.

As I was jumping up and down, yelling like a crazy man, and high five-ing everyone in sight, the feeling of complete euphoria (often colloquially used to define emotion as an intense, transcendent happiness combined with an overwhelming sense of well-being) was overwhelming. As I sat there after the game, I realized it had been way too long since I had felt this way. Thanks again, Meeechigan!

He holds up a picture of Taylor Lewan, and says, "Guys like this play linebacker at Notre Dame, not offensive line." When have they ever had a 6'7" 280lb linebacker? I look forward to watching his video next week, he's pretty funny.

Ernis, kudos for finding that video, it was absolutely hysterical waching it after the fact of their loss, that little piece of lasagna just whooped their butts. I recommend everyone watch it. Too funny, great find and post!

I wonder how that humble pie tastes. Or is he worried that it might make his butt look big? I guess as long as it doesn't make his arms scrawny he should be good to go. It has to be a joke. I looked through the comments and even domers were laughing at him.

Does anyone out there have a picture or a video that shows how the block M looked yesterday? I was lucky to get in it the second year in a row and the free t-shirts were pretty nice this year.

I have family members that live in Indiana, they won't pick up the phone. Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! OMG I love it when The Wolverines whips those busters. A friend of mine complained about Weis, and how he was not giving to the alumni fund. I just held the phone and laughed. One thing I noticed everyone, UM and ND fans alike lauded Michigan's QB, Tate Forcier. My son, who rarely watches a whole game, did nothing but text me about how mature and good Tate is. Wow this is so fun! The only good thing that came out of a 3-9 season is UM fans appreciate winning more now. The Michigan Nation is ready to go to the next level. What's that you say? You already know. Consistent visits and wins to the championship games are what we are ready for. Patience pays off!!

I feel like if we'd just lived charmed existences as fans, with our worst year being 7-5 (at least in my fandom), this wouldn't feel as sweet. Granted, at this point "this" is just 2-0. However, it feels great. I guess it's true- you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. The bad times do (and will) make the good times taste that much sweeter. On to the next one.

I was at the game sitting 89 rows up. Down below on the field Forcier scrambled away and thrown a ball to LaTerryal Savoy who dropped it. He comes back and throws another strike to Greg Mathews and the crowd goes insane! Except for the Notre Dame fans who are next to me. Yah . . . I had to sit by them. They complained about every call against ND. This guy was going on about how the side judge was a disgrace and his friend was calling all the referee's assholes. They felt as though all those calls were wrongly accused and that it was of no surprise that it was called against them. It felt as though they thought they were victims to bad judgment. Try blaiming your coach Charlie Weis. What coach would throw 2 passes in the final 2 minutes of a drive that stops the clock cold? Those precious seconds were key to our game winning drive. There was something weird I saw amongst the ND faithful. They were starting to turn against each other. They got agitated and we're almost yelling at each other over what was happening during the game. This was the first time I've ever been to a Mich/ND game and the first tiem I've ever had to sit by a group of fans from the opposing team. So I don't know if it is of a common occurrence for the ND fans to have such a weak base amongst themselves or they were just agitated. It was weird.

Brandon Minor was a STUD running with rage, and his blocking was stellar on several plays. His picking up of the blitz on the game winning TD was HUGE. BTW as a medical professional, that ND 'fan' has some serious mental health issues(obviously), and I would not be surprised if he was 'out of this world' by now...so pathetic...
