We lost. To a great team. With our best players in foul trouble. With several suspect calls (no excuses).

What a season. From being irrelevant for 2 decades to taking Louisville to the last minutes. Absolutely amazing season.

I love this team and will be wearing my Michigan gea proudly tomorrow. Go blue.

Not even that mad. Played a hell of a game against and even better team. 76 points against any other team would have been enough. Hats off to Louisville.

Thanks to all the players/coaches for a phenomenal season.

No regrets. They played great and lost to a better team. Disappointed? You bet, but not in them. We were right there. We'll always have the shot. And the ride. I'm glad I got to watch it.

Boys gave a valiant effort but ran out of gas

Team is largely sophomores and freshmen and very young

To do what they did was aamazing, and if everyone comes back, they should have similar success next year. I hope they all come back. I hope Burke comes back, and we make the Big Ten our bitch

Couldn't be prouder of these kids. Also amazed that they had the restraint not to cold cock the refs after more than a few suspect calls going against us. It's still great to be a Michigan Wolverine

Great, great season.  A 2013 Final Four banner will look great in Crisler next season.  This has been an incredible ride.

What a tournament run. We thought this team was overrated when they started the season ranked #3. We watched them roll to 20-1, then the reality check. On the road at OSU. Clobbered at MSU. Stupid Wisconsin. Then Penn State. Hours of agony waiting for Morgan's shot to choose a side of the rim against Indiana. We thought this team might struggle to get to the Sweet Sixteen after the rough end to the season. Then the magic started. Mitch being Mitch. Killing Havoc. The Shot. 6-for-6. Dissecting the 2-3. Even Spike going off. We fans got waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy more than we could have expected out of this tourney run - I'm so grateful for the experience.

I don't think I've ever felt more proud to be a Michigan Wolverine than I am now after this loss.  Yup, you heard it right.  This Michigan team played awesome, even in this title game.  They ran into the number 1 seed in the whole tournament and almost pulled it out.  The back and forth was great.  The refs really were ok, missing some calls on both sides, and the better team simply won.  But this Michigan team made a tourney run none of us expected and gave us joy after joy.  Hats off to Louisville for a great game.  It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine.

Lets start a pool to pay all the guys to come back for at least another year. There's nothing fishy about that, right? Its not like a recruiting violation or anything...

Proudest of a team that I've rooted for ever. Trey Burke is a goddamned warrior. I'm going to miss that man. I just don't have any words to say about this team. I was 3 when Michigan won the MNC in 97 and this is the first championship taste I've had in basketball since the Pistons in 2004. I just don't have anything to say about this team, it's been a wild ride, going to miss Trey, and whoever else goes. Such an unselfish team, and a fun team to watch.

It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine

It was a better than expected season and I'm very proud of this team. Next season should be a very special one.....those who stay..... Go Blue! P.S. Chris Webber isn't allowed to attend any more championship games. /s

No shame in the way the season ended.  A little bitter about the reffing, or a lot bitter about the reffing, but the lads played their tails off from start to finish.  Most fans aren't lucky enough to get to watch their team play in the national title game, and this team is proof that it's possible to do so and still run a clean program with great guys who see their school as more than an NBA development academy.

Great game and a great season. The guys played really well tonight on the biggest stage of all and lost to the best team in the country. There is no shame in losing when you give it your best. I hope everyone on the coaching staff, trainers and especially the players know how much their hard work and dedication means to us all. Go Blue!

Nothing but pride.

We went eyeball to eyeball with the vaunted top 1-seed and came up just short.

This after being the fifth-place team in the Big Ten and going out early in the Big Ten Tournament.

This after Beilein never wining more than one NCAA Tournament game and never winning more than one Big Ten Tournament game.

This after being on the edge of elimination in the Sweet Sixteen.

Normally I don't wear my Michigan attire after a loss.  Don't want to draw attention to the fact that we lost and answer 20 questions about it.  Not this time.  I'll wear my Michigan stuff with as much pride as if we had won.
