Seeing as how Louisville has stayed rather mum - as opposed to say, Syracuse, Florida, or Kansas - I think we need to get the mojo going in our favor.

Please discuss below how we have absolutely no chance tonight against the vaunted Louisville press. They're a team of destiny, I tell you! I'll still be proud of our team when we inevitably lose this evening.

We haven't shit the ball that well from the guard spots, mcgary will finally meet his tough matchup inside, they are going to exploit our undersized forwards on defense, and they have all the mojo with the win it for ware thing.

I am proud of this team's run and will watch til the end. Even though wr have already lost

Louisville by 20. Siva grows wings mid-game and flies over our defense. Dieng sprouts an eight foot long third arm that blocks everything in its path. Kevin Ware's forlorn expression gets imprinted in our player's heads causing them to collapse in pain and Pitino tells the refs to make sure they call for the right team or they'll be sleeping with the fishes.

is really more of just like a scrimmage for Louisville.  We are just kind of a sparring partner.  We have no business in this game and it is going to get out of hand fast.

Ware has been seeing a Shaman all weekend and is healed. He will win this one for himself tonight. Plus there press is the greatest press ever. Pitino has great hair. and with hair like that, you can't lose.

Halftime of the Syracuse game I told myself that if we pulled off a victory I would immediately run outside to complete a 2 mile run and 100 push ups ... well, that never happened

Keeping my fingers crossed!?!?!?

...that all ESPN panelists predict a Louisville win.

Eamonn Brennan: Louisville. Speaking of criminally underrated: While the Cardinals' defense gets all the pub -- and rightfully so, since it's been the best in the country all season -- Louisville's offense has been awfully for months now, Saturday's first half against Wichita State notwithstanding. Combine that offense and a just-solid Michigan defense, and throw in the handful of turnovers and run-outs the Cardinals should get at key spots, and I think Louisville wins a close game. Emphasis on close.

Andy Katz:There is no manifest destiny here. This is more about the more complete, experienced team. Louisville avoided a serious downturn this season. Sure, the Cards lost three in a row but they were all close games and to quality teams. Michigan was in the Big Ten grind but there were some games when the Wolverines were lost. The more consistent team wins here.

Myron Medcalf: I'm going with Louisville because of its experience, talent and defense. The Cardinals haven't lost since early February for a reason. They're so strong defensively and they're versatile enough on offense to win games even when they're missing shots (see Saturday's win over Wichita State). They just figure it out, one way or the other. Louisville will win this one.

Dana O'Neil: Louisville wins. The Cardinals looked tentative and passive against Wichita State but I believe that, as much as they wouldn't admit it, that was the result from an emotional and chaotic week dealing with Kevin Ware's injury. I expect Louisville to be more like itself in this title game, and by that I mean more like the best team in the nation. The Cards are talented, experienced and hungry, not to mention ridiculously good on defense. Add that up and you've got yourself a national champion.

Robbi Pickeral: Got to go with Louisville. The Cardinals have the defense, the inspiration (Kevin Ware), and a coach that's looking to make history by winning a national title with two different teams. Oh, and they haven't lost since Feb. 9 (and that was in five overtimes).

...and of course I can't get back to the ESPN article to link to it because their site is down.

because Pitino has a racehorse and his kid is the new coach at Minnesota. We should be happy that we got this far. Plus, the President picked Louisville on his bracket.

Trey will have a good game, but won't get much help from anybody else. However, the real kicker will be foul trouble for Mitch. The refs are determined to present Pitino with another national championship to accompany his induction into the college HOF this year, and McGary will pick up his third foul with 8 minutes left in the first half. Morgan and Horford will make a valiant effort to pick up the slack, but they simply don't have Mitch's game.

Louisville 84 Michigan 71, and it won't really be that close for most of the second half.

I haven't gotten anything right all tournament; I picked us to lose to VCU, Kansas, Florida, and Syracuse, and the only FF team on my bracket I got right was Louisville, who I picked to win it all. If that's the only pick I get right I'm going to be pissed.

McGary will come back down to Earth tonight and we'll get worked down low. Stauskus and GRIII will go back to how they played late in the B1G season, and Trey won't be able to do it on his own. I also don't expect Hardaway to catch fire since he hasn't all tournament. It's been a fun ride guys, I just wish there was a way we could win this one.

If Louisville wins I at least get a share of my $1700 office pool, if not the whole shebang. While it would be easy call this a win-win scenario....I need the money. Go Cardinals!

So when they win I'll be 2nd in my pool.  So I will come that close to winning and not win, while watching Michigan lose.

Yeah, that seems like how the Basketball Gods would treat me.
