Final Four Game 1 Open Thread
This is the opposite approach Beilein took vs. KU.
We played it out and won, Wichita St. is fouling right away.
That dude looked pretty much the same age as Russ Smith
lol I thought the same thing.
and choked this away. Stop leaving Hancock wide open and figure out how to inbound a ball
If this goes to OT...I'm going to piss on your lawn tomorrow.
Haven't forgotten your premonition earlier in the thread.
So my visions aren't worth much.
Terrible jump ball call.
What a bullshit call...
#1 it was a foul.
#2 it was WAY too quick
No ball!!!!
That's a call for Kevin Ware. Louisville is already penned in for a championship
but that seemed like an awful call. There was shared possession for a split second before Baker fully controlled
Merry early Christmas, Louisville.
What a joke
The foul they just called on WSU looked like more of a jump ball than the jump ball they just called.
Lame
I said a bigger problem was the tie up when you're not close to having possession.
So, yeah....
The possession arrow in general is idiotic. If they can throw a jump ball at the beginning of the game, they can do it at other times.
When you have a lethargic/nonexistent transition game, you're going to blow games like this. Good job, good effort, Wichita State.
Stupid. Louisville fouled every time and got away with it. A complete joke.
The refs changed this game!
They want the ratings bonanza of Louisville-Michigan for the final. No one wants to see a defensive bog down in a rematch.
because I'd like to see us there and I doubt anyone will want to see Louisville-Syracuse part 4.
Wichita St. would've still had to make a 3, but they EARNED a chance to take that 3.
In definition it was a held ball but I agree it was a quick whistle. College game needs to go to a true jump ball instead of the possession arrow also.
9:21EST
What a joke.
on that last possession. (The Shockers had one left.)
Down four, you've got to advance the ball with the clock stopped.
Dribbling the ball up court just guarantees that you'll run out the clock. Most teams seem to make this mistake.
I agree that the held ball was BS, however.
Does this not seem like the longest warm up ever?
I like the drill with the cushions.
ready for this, boy Am I
Trey just doesn't seem to be able to get his shot over them.
so apparently the site decided to post my last four post all together
I think we'll be fine if we continue to work the zone and not force shots.
Wrong topic.
thinks he is a late 1st rounf draft pick, much less a regualr NBA player, escapes me
