Final Four Game 1 Open Thread
but the team angle, c'mon, he was a bench player.
of Kevin Ware.Glad he's ok but I think CBS/Addias etc have milked the story dry.
This is why any team (WSU, 'Cuse, M) should hate the idea of playing L'ville. That guy in the corner of the floor is an emotional wild card.
Also they are the best team in the country...
The keep talking about him like he was martyred or something
WICH CRAFT!
I hate that pressing teams get away with constant fouling. It is like Craft and his hand checking. He does it so often they just stop calling it.
...drink everytime they mention Kevin Ware.
Or take a shot every time they show him.
I feel like this is BTN and Denard is in the crowd.
Is it me or does it seem like UL is able to bump and body all they want on D, but the Shockers get called for just looking at the UL players?
The #9 seed winning is a good story, but I guess CBS and NCAA think the Ware story has more legs.
Ok, not really.
I swear I didn't even notice I did that until after it was posted. But then I was quite proud of myself.
I don't think you have a leg to stand on.
You guys are crackin' me up.
compounding the problem.
Louisville is getting away with everything, including two obvious travelling violations. The officials are calling this game like a Big10 game involving Indiana.
They might win this game 20+ ...when Ohio started pressing Wichita St. they almost came back from down 20.
Fuck Louisville
...yours are hilarious.
Consistency, I don't mess with the juju
I didn't know an up and down meant jump ball...we all will rage at these refs exactly 3 hours from now. Bank on it.
Darren Rovell said that one of the O'Bannon lawyers along with some other NCAA people believe Ware is now ineligbile because of the stunt Louisville pulled with the t-shirts.
Louisville must be controlling the time of possession battle because it feels like they've been on offense the whole time. The shockers are settling for poor, quick shots. Thoughts?
Is it possible to get rims that are actually regulation tightness in a final four? Each year they clang like a thunderclap on every missed basket.
Rims can varyin tightness I think. And loose rims should help shooting which we need tonight so for now I'm ok with it.
You're probably right but don't they seem extra loud during the final weekend? Maybe the way their miked?
They do seem louder than Michigan's... I'll ask someone who's there.
Lolz my grammar - extra loud louder.
My friend says that they sound really loud in person too... Conspiracy? NCAA rims? Mark Emmert? Unfair? No!
Thanks for asking.
Probably way more microphones around them in stuff. This is the final 4...
That sound could get irritating if your team is not hitting shots. On my TV it's the loudest sound coming out my speakers.
I like my rims tight and my women loose.
(Nevermind, don't answer that)
Everything against Wichita.
Enjoying listening to Vitale and Nessler here in Canada over Kellogg and Nantz.
I guess so is getting a wisdom removed.
These teams are going to be in the quadruple bonus soon. It's a real thing... i checked.
...we're not going to start until 9:15
Read your post wrong. Nothing to see here.
Late game, watch us go into overtime....
We don't foul so this crew would be of benefit to us. Syracuse is in the Big East, meaning they're going to hack and hold all game.
It is a matter of time until Louisville opens a big lead.
A big lead in this game will be 6 pts. A real barn burner.
I just ate some of a sub. It was crazy. Half of the sub remains and will be placed in the oven in a couple of hours for some reheating. This event will be even crazier! I have done this before each of our first games of the weekend in this tournament. Knock down drag out!
Was he passing that?
How many open shots can these teams miss...
If we win tonight whatever team we play on Monday will suddenly be unable to miss from anywhere.
it's even preventing Wichita St and Louisville from making any shots. This is going to be like 20-19 at halftime
