SB and BB Wins
The #12 SB Team and the BB Team both won today. SB hosted Ohio and won 5-1. BB traveled to EL and defeated MSU 6-3.
Sierra Romero was the offensive hero today by going 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs and a run scored. Caitlin Blanchard went 1 for 3 with an RBI. Ashley Lane went 1 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Haylie Wagner was the starting and winning pitcher. She gave up 1 ER off 6 hits. She had 4 Ks and 1 BB.
Sierra continues to impress the Softball World as she is leading the Big Ten Freshmen in batting Average with a .402 after today's game. She is certainly on pace to win the Freshman of the Year award in the B1G.

Sierra Romero's in my English class. She told us Monday that she made the junior national team, which is awesome. Great to hear she's doing well.

On baseball, Patrick Biondi made his first start in nearly a month, which was good to see. Here's the umgoblue.com item on the game: U-M Earns Comeback Win at Michigan State to Open In-State Series. Evan Hill (4-1) is set to be the starting pitcher in tomorrow's home game against MSU.
