When was the last time there was a basketball picture/meme on the banner? I can't remember one for as long as I've been surfing the site, but then again, I haven't paid that close attention. Gotta say, it's a pretty big deal that basketball was able to usurp anything football on a site dedicated to UM sports.

In all seriousness, this line and Hoke line from a recent press conference (that is actually slipping my mind) have been mentioned a million times already for the new banner.
My question is...has the banner ever been changed to something someone suggested?
Kind of an answer:
There was a contest once, but MGoBlog received a ceast and desist letter from the University for using trademarked logos. Thus, the new banner which uses a picture actually taken by an MGoBlog photographer.
