NCAA Tournament Open Thread
Could be. I'm honestly not sure MU could win even if Syracuse doesn't score again.
Yeah, I don't think MU understands that when you shoot, it's supposed to go through the basket. Hitting the metal around the basket doesn't even count for half points. Of if it did, MU would be winning by quite a bit.
Mind-blowing to think that the selection committee thought Marquette was better than us. They have looked like a steaming pile of crap for large portions of this tournament. Their Sweet 16 game was their only good performance out of four.
man, how much less interesting can it get? The only reason I'm still watching is for my personal scouting of a potential opponent.
Orangemen would be tougher but I think we can shoot better than these last 2 teams they've played, I mean Indiana looked down right intimidated and un-athletic as hell against them.
I don't think athleticism will be a problem for us and I know a Trey led team sure in the hell ain't gonna be intimidated by anyone.
need to get checked after the game, they might be bent from all the MU clanking, sheesh.
Beat ohio
Ding ding ding. I believe we have a "winner."
OSU likely wins tonight, but in typical OSU fashion. Meaning, by a dramatic 3-pointer that is not as nearly as cool as Trey's was last night.
lol, at the SU guy almost dropping the trophy.
Is that Google map of UM bars still up to date? Otherwise just google it. There are probably more Americans in London than in most American cities, so I'm sure there are options.
I think he's just trying to fight the urge to steal his co-hosts credit cards.
Not that there was duly impressive shooting in the Syracuse-Marquette game, but Marquette managed all of 25.5% for an effective field goal percentage, was only 3-25 from three point range and got lost in Syracuse's defense with 13 turnovers, as well as being the victim of 9 steals. Davante Gardner and Vander Blue were literally 72% of their offense.
2-0, 2 minutes into the game
tomorrows games will probably be way more enjoyable to watch. This game looks like it'll be a bore as well, even if it's close, might be time for a siesta.
If you add Marquette's score to the OSU-WSU loser's score will it add up to a respectable amount of points? Stay tuned to find out.
Edit: of course as soon as I say that they start bombing threes because...
press conference replay on BTN right now for anyone interested
Please someone kill that wichita st person that is whistling straight into the microphone.
Wow...couple of early phantom calls on Wichita St.
solely to never hear that whistling ever again.
I see you feel quite strongly about this. Bucks are stinking up the joint
I would love to see a Louisville v Michigan Final
in that case, I hope you win your pool. All M fans will be rooting for you to be a prophet while you profit!!!
Ohio seems determined to prove to the world that its road to the Final Four is not a cakewalk.
Ohio seems like a team that Louisville or Duke playing like they are right now would beat by about 20.
Couple things, did anyone see Amir Williams bean that cheerleader in the face with a block? And then a few seconds later, Thad Matta awkwardly brushed the hair out of his eyes, but his hair is 8 inches away from his eyes.
Rooting for the Bucks, but I do have a soft spot for anyone wearign rec specs in the court
McGary would go for 30 against Wichita State. Hall helps weak side so much it would kill them.
Ohio looking horrible...Duke or Louisville should crush whoever comes out of this crapfest (if both teams play the way they are right now)
This is the worst that OSU has looked in weeks, possibly months. Gotta expect Matta to get his guys going in the second half. There's no way they can shoot only 25% for the entire game is there?
shooting some desperate ass shots, it amuses me
turned off the Marquette game before this one...
if ohio loses this game?
