Syracuse-Marquette definitely play today. The Louisville-Duke game is the late game Sunday.
BEAT FLORIDA

And Advance on ESPN at five today. Sorry for it being OT but I thought it was definitely appropriate after last night. GO BLUE!!!!

But wasnt NCSt a super dirty program that has been deified due to the Jimmy V's tragic death?

More or less

This is terrible for me. My incredibly non-sports-understanding inlaws will not allow bball during Easter dinner, and this game starts 70 minutes before our dinner. Dammit it all to hell.

Offer to put the ham in the oven, then accidently drop it on the floor. Send your wife to the store to get another ham with instructions to take her sweet time. Or, make sure dinner starts just as half time starts, and wolf the food down, make compliments on how great it tastes, and excuse yourself. Make sure the volume is turned down or off when you go back to watching the game.

Sounds like you've done this a time or two?
March 30th, 2013 at 12:33 PM ^
Nah. My in-laws were pretty cool. But I can come up with hypothetical plans like the dickens.

You came down with food poisoning tonight. It must have been that gallon of cottage cheese you left in the car that you are going to eat right now.
Worth it

These would be good suggestions if my wife and I hadn't already argued about this this morning when I checked the game time and asked to push back lunch an hour. Now she knows my motive.
I'll have to rely on DVR for the second half, and make sure I record for an hour after this time.

Always record extended time when recording a sporting event.

Nothing forces compromise like a naked dude at the dinner table.
March 30th, 2013 at 11:35 AM ^
Sounds good, but if I did that my father in law would take that as a reason for him to be naked too.

As long as he keeps his dangly bits out of the gravy, what's the harm? Don't be so uptight.

And have a Beilein crazy Easter party....win-win for everyone. Who knows, maybe some chicken wings.

Good time to convert to Judaism. I'm sure you could find a Rabbi to do it over the weekend in LA.

on a flippin' airplane heading out on spring break.
Ugh.

I get that it's a bummer you'll miss the game, but of all the reasons, yours is one of the best. Michigan basketball is awesome, but spring break is spring break. Michigan might lose their next game, but on spring break you'll win for sure.
You'll remember it for life. Day one of spring back this year will be no more memorable thn last year or next year or five years from now.
Unless you have subs.
What is Spring Break? Haven't had one in 15 years

We have easter dinner reservations.
I won't be bringing my phone. The DVR is already engaged.

For those within driving distance of Dallas, ticket prices are as low as $10.00 on Stubhub, which is kind of to be expected with Kansas out of the regional.

Burkemode has been engaged also

We will have likely eaten or be in the process of eating our Easter dinner around the time the game starts, and being that the dinner is at my in-laws and they are not at all sports people (unlike my family, who would have moved the dinner because of the game), this does present a problem. Like others, DVR will likely be my best bet as my wife has already told me that there will be no extra place set for the laptop.

The one benefit to being on call all weekend. Didn't get to go to Ohio to see the family/eat easter dinner which sucks, but I do have all weekend free (assuming I don't get called in) to mgoblog and watch basketball.
I am wondeing why UM/UF is the early game? The only thing I can think of is because they believe the Duke/UL game is more of the primetime game.
