Crean  is such a douche that I wouln't mind seeing IU lose, and from the looks of their difficulty in figuring out Syracuse's zone, it might just happen.

Syracuse's 2-3 zone is not a typical zone.  They extend their zone way out, so they pressure on the perimeter.  You don't get many open threes with their zone.

They have to get Zeller in the middle of it and have him hit those free throw jumpers to soften up that zone.  He looks overmatched when they try to post him up.

Syracuse playing exactly how I expected them to in the Tourney...very well.

The Big East is a grind too and I think that was getting the best of them throughout the season.  They're on point now.

Joe Lunardi just proved his college hoops intelligence with this nuggent in the ESPN live chat: "Does anyone realize (I didn't) that a potential Cuse-Marq regional final is a Committee error?"

Teams from the same conference can play in the regional finals.  That's the earliest they can play unless a conference sends more than eight teams to the tournament. UM-OSU in 1992 is a relevant example of that.

I can see Indiana struggling with the zone but the extent to which they have struggled and the fact that Syracuse is making quite a few of their shots is surprising.

Indiana looks like they watched the Marquette/Miami game, celebrated their inevitable easier road to the Final Four, and completely forgot that they're playing the second best team in the entire East region.

Oladipo has been struggling at the line but he's getting good looks.  Nobody on Indiana can shoot right now.

So we should just always play a zone against indiana every time we play them because apparently nobody ever taught crean how to play against it.
