Michigan on a nice run. Up 26-20 with 3 to play in the first half.

Shots from insane distances going in.

No, they were supossed to only be for the Crisler Re-Dedication. But since Michigan knocked off sparty in them ending their streak, I guess they think they're good luck.

Bad turnover but luckily nova travels. Michigan leads 54-48 with 90 seconds left to play.

Jenny Ryan:

5/7 FG, 3 Assists so far.  Only takes good shots, otherwise passes... I love how efficiently she plays.

Michigan just got the DREB up by 8 with only a minute left... GO BLUE!

Nice win for the women's team. Their chances against Stanford are pretty slim, but you never know...

Stanford is generally considered the weakest of the #1 seeds, so there's that.

Also of note, the Big Ten women's teams are doing quite well so far—they went 6-0 in the first round.

Not a bad weekend for the University of Michigan basketball teams, a total record of 3 and 0. Great coaching job by Beilein and Barnes Arico.

Now the ladies get to beat Stanford and make it two Michigan basketball teams in the Sweet 16.

It was a pretty good weekend for Michigan sports in general. Softball team got the sweep, baseball got a win, and obviously basketball. Even though gymnastics and hockey both finished second in their conference tournaments, gymnastics still a shot at nationals and the hockey team made a tremendous run to finish the season. Hopefully next weekend is just as good.
