Let's start fresh for MSU and the games that follow and leave that VCU masterpiece pristine.

The elimination / annihilation of VCU means that the last remaining #5 seed is out of the Tournanment.

As for the MSU / Memphis game, Michigan State actually has 8 turnovers to Memphis' 3, but no real advantage numerically otherwise for either team, despite a strange ability MSU displayed to turn one Memphis possession into something that seemed to last minutes at one point. I think half of the Spartans' turnovers in the first half were in that sequence.

The light really turned on for him in early Jan.  For 2.5 seasons he was really lost out there.  Now I think he is Sparty's best player.

(but that last block was a total foul :)

Kinda unrelated, but a Michigan fan made a post wishing MSU good luck on the RCMB and got blasted with insults. I don't want MSU to win any more games now.

Wow. That call is pretty surprising. I just thought it was a hard foul, but i guess if you get a hit that high up on a guy...

And how is that any worse than what Dawson did to Stauskas?

After reading the rule I think we got screwed. It blatantly says a push to prevent a breakaway and before gr111 got hacked on the shoulder he was clearly shoved on a breakaway. Oh well shit happens.

I have to agree with this flagrant 1 thing being garbage.  If you need to watch the play in slow motion to determine if it's flagrant, it's not.

The temperature in my apartment just dropped twenty degrees. I look I the stands behind Izzo and who else but Dantonio is staring directly through me.
