Not sure if the Liveblog continues today. Big Big game today. Advancing the program, or treading water. And of course we get the only 5 seed to survive, so match-ups don't come closer than this. Rest of the bracket doesn't look like world beaters if we win today. One down, five to go. Go Blue!

I think Spike's 10 minutes of Globe Trotter dribbling sets up some monster numbers for GR3 and McGary. Burke comes alive and Beilein will show his mastery of X's and O's to defeat the VCU press.

On to the sweet 16! GO BLUE!!

Kansas looked awful yesterday : )

From everything I read it seems like if its on CBS you can always get it for free without putting in a provider.  If its on any of the other channels you get a free 4 hours total for the tournament.  After that you need the TV subscription.

Nervous as hell for this.  All we'd heard about this past week was Wolters and the vaunted press.  Wolters is out of the way but this "vaunted press" stands in our way now.  I hope Beilein and the boys had a good strategy day yesterday to attack this thing and get out with a big W.  I agree, I think we might see a bit more of Spike today.  He's a good ball handler, better than the likes of THJ, and may help calm things down bringing the ball up the court.

(Hopefully, Michigan just plays some great defense today and doesn't even allow for this full-court press to even get set up all that often)

VCU plays 10-12 guys...so any single player probably won't be in foul trouble but heres to getting into the bonus early! slow the pace of the game down

VCU has to create turnovers to have a chance and we are the least turnover prone team in the country.  We only get beaten by big bangers in the post and they play four guards.  Of course in a one-game playoff anyone can beat anyone else (my name is John Thompson III and I approved this message), but I can't imagine a better matchup for us.
