Vincent Smith Clocking Dollars From Clowney Hit
Hell, who wouldn't?
That site owner is consistently horrible, but glad Smith has continued to take "the hit" in stride.
Clocking dollars? Does that mean making money? If so, can't we just say that?
Using context clues, I ascertain that it means something along the lines of "acquire."
I would sign it too, but it would look more like this:
"Clowney hits like a pussy. -Vincent Smith"

You win the internets today, Sir.
Better than gaining attention because of a fake dead girlfriend.
Dead fake girlfriend.

Err why the hate? I didn't post it as a negative.
Gotta profit where you can. Smith seems like a good kid and was always a tough player, glad he can take all the jokes in stride.
Exactly. And it's not like Vincent Smith is big or all that great. This is like Dwight Howard getting a huge block on JJ Berea. Awesome work, man.
As for the hit itself, I think its being blown way out of proportion by now. No one, including myself, will deny that it was a great hit, but ESPN has just been salivating over this crap for the past 3 months like they've never seen a big hit before. It's hit Best of the Best for Top 10 about 40 straight times, countless articles have been written about it, yada yada yada. How it managed to beat out that high school buzzer beater shot a few weeks ago on top 10 is almost offensive.
Nobody was blocking Clowney. It was a missed assignment. Line up any defensive lineman in America in that same spot and they'd make that same play.

Same here. I took IOWAST in all my brackets.
Smith is getting the last laugh out of all of this.
And he's leaving Michigan with a 3-1 record against notre dame.
I still laugh at our fans who try to downplay the hit. I guarantee if Mike Martin would have did that to Dan Herron or somebody we would all talk that play up for decades.
A few things:
1. Dan Herron plays for Ohio State, and we are Michigan. Any UM-OSU play is bigger than a UM-South Carolina Outback Bowl play.
2. Dan Herron was a (multi-year?) starter. So it would be a star-on-star play.
3. We're not saying that South Carolina fans shouldn't be talking about it. It's about how much this is getting played up be people not from South Carolina.
No doubt that was a big hit. But every season there are equally big hits in equally big games (this one wasn't all that big) that don't get near this kind of hype. And the funny thing is, if Vincent Smith didn't have dreads, his helmet probably doesn't come off and we're not talking about it at all anymore.

Vincent Smith seems like a nice, young man.

Where can I buy the,"Clowney hits like a pussy. -Vincent Smith" autographed picture?
He was charging $60? Wasn't he at Gibraltar Trade Center last weekend charging $10?
