Ole Miss ties it up, only to see Wisconsin nail a return three and make it 39-36.
Perhaps that brief flash of action is for the best, as it felt like it had been 36-33 in the Ole Miss-Wisconsin game since 1994 for some reason.
Statistically, these two teams have almost played each other to a draw up and down the box score.

why didn't wisconsin shoot like this agains us the whole game instead of just a half? i think the announcer said it best--it wouldn't surprise me if this wisconsin team beat any team or lost to any team.

I'm not a fan of Ole Miss by any means, but seeing them beating Wiscy makes me so happy. That Wiscy team always felt like a squad that benefitted from the officiating, so it is nice to see them struggle.
Can they just cut Charles Barkley's microphone? He said the B1G is overrated because Ole Miss may beat Wiscy. Of course, he loves the Pac 12, which was pretty horrendous all year and won two games in the tourney. And let's ignore UM, MSU, IU, OSU, etc. all being better than Wiscy.
Barkley also said last night that New Mexico was the team to worry about in their region. Of course, that was before they lost to Harvard!!
He also talked up Cal as if they were a juggernaut when, in reality, they barely beat a team that had already beaten them once this year, and are staring down a pretty scary 'Cuse team in round 2.
Charles is turrible.
I never found his antics on TNT interesting either. He's always been hard to understand, with limited useful insights unless you like hearing "real talk" from former players, and he never seems prepared for most of his talking points. Ernie Johnson really keeps him on point out there, and it is funny to see him try to mount anything approximating a logical opinion without that guidance.
And the refs step in to pull their weight in making sure Wisconsin advances.
And Wisconsin steps in to make sure they assert themselves as the loser of the game by missing every open shot possible.

Well, I had Wisconsin in my Elite 8. Thought this was their year, but they really don't have much success in the tournament. I've watched them airball approximately 4 3-point attempts. Wisconsin infuriates me, they win when I want them to lose, lose when I want them to win, can beat Ohio State by 20 points and then lose to Ole Miss by 10. Ridiculous.
Wisconsin was 15/58 today shooting.
