If you're thinking they will be around for the Michigan/SDSU game, I'm not so sure.  The lower bowl gets cleared between sessions so the MSU fans would've had to buy tickets for both sessions and that's a big commitment just to root against another school.

The upper deck, if I'm not mistaken, can be there the whole time.  So there will likely be the MSU stragglers up there wearing their SDSU gear they paid $70+ to have shipped overnight here.

The people who bought their tickets before the brackets were announced bought tickets for both sessions as the Michigan game assuming that they ended up in Auburn Hills could have been in either session. Since tickets were still available for direct purchase for individual sessions, there was not too much demand for them to be able to sell their afternoon session tickets on the secondary market. As a result a few of my friends (Michigan fans) went to watch the games in both sessions.

"It was originally created in 1908 by the Craftsman's Guild in Highland Park Illinois. It seems to be based directly on the Japanese "Piriken or "Pilliken" of Osaka. The Piriken or Pilliken is something who has a box of money offerings in front of him. Those who offer a coin will have their wish granted if they kiss his upturned feet. The base of the plaster figure is inscribed, "Biliken - the god of things as they ought to be"

I figured if any team wasn't going to crash the boards against Pitt in the tourney it was wee wittle Wichita State. They're winning the OREB battle 6-2

Could somebody step up and agree to help moderate the liveblog this p.m. (starting in an hour) or just be the scoreboard man? I need a couple more and my boss is getting mad at me for not watching enough basketball today.

Is anyone else seeing the Pitt/Witchita St. game?  Witchita St. is shooting 30.3% and Pitt is shooting 29% and the teams are a combined 2-26 from long range.  Pitt really is the 'Wisconisn' of the East.

You're playing against pogo sticks, St. Mary's.   Pump fake down low and watch jockstraps fall down to the floor.

Otherwise, St. Mary's is displaying grit and an inability to make shots.

If St. Mary's doesn't make a comeback I will miss out on a perfect bracket.  I love March Madness.  I haven't accomplished a single thing since lunch.

F--- U PITT.  Turn it around or I'm going to screen and ignore your phone calls looking for me to donate money to you.  Wait, I do that already.  <thinks of different punishment>

My coin flip bracket is pretty much screwed at this point; guess the randomness of the universe didn't realize Valpo was a good choice to win it all.

On the other hand, the "Wife, I'm going to read two team names out and then you choose one" bracket is still perfect and still looking good so far...
