Would have been 10x more interesting if it was a Wisconsin vs Arkansas deathmatch.

And then have Michigan vs San Diego State in a basketball deathmatch of awkwardness.

Don't worry, Wisconsin will luck their way into a decent game because Alabama will get the flu or something, just like they lucked their way to this year's Rose Bowl and lucked their way through getting Russell WIlson.

not so sure they're still going to be able to pound the ball the same way in 2-3 years. Plus, I'm not sure Wisconsin would stand a chance now when they're basically at about the highest point the programs ever been. Probably not going to end well unless Alabama gets hammered with sanctions immediately

This is a good thing for the Big Ten.  Although, like most of you, I think Wisco will get Rick Rolled in this game, it will help recruiting for a couple years since it's a pretty sweet opportunity, and Wisconsin will be better for scheduling this.

Gonna love to see them get their shit wrecked.  I wore my Michigan jersey the day of the Alabama game and every bro in Madison wanted to make sure I knew we were gonna get stomped.

Of course we all know how this turns out: Wisconsin loses but plays Bama pretty damn close, further embarrassing the boys in blue and their fans. Have we learned nothing from the last decade?

Notre Dame's offense was missing a Heisman-winning quarterback, and they didn't have the fortune of playing Bama the week after a draining game in Death Valley.  Notre Dame didn't exactly light up the scoreboard last year, either.

To confirm, you're saying that in 2015 Wisconsin will lose to Alabama, but not by a lot, and this will be a great source of embarrassment to Michigan because Alabama beat Michigan in 2012 in the midst of a dominating national championship by 2012 Alabama?

No, not really.  It all lumps into the same "LOLZ look at scUM they suck" category that we've been dealing with for the last half-decade plus.  In addition to the two games I mentioned above, we have any single thing that happened during the Rich Rod era, the Clowney decapitation, getting boat-raced by Bama in a nationally televised game, etc.  It doesn't matter if Bama was/is one of the most dominant teams in decades, or the Clowney hit was the only decent play he made all day, it all turns into ammo that gets used against us.  I absolutely guaran-damn-tee you that if Wiscy pulls the upset or makes it real close, one of the first things we hear from Badger fans, or B1G fans in general, is "Hey remember when Michigan played Bama, HALOL"  That's the point I'm making.

How, if the programs are anywhere near the same programs by that date, how you think because Wisonsin runs MANBALL they'll keep it within 100.

And if Saban is long gone by then then only an idiot would get trolled by that.

But it begs the real question- why do you care so much what they say...?

Wisconsin playing a relevant (much less top 5 team) in non-conference play? Does not compute.

What's next? SEC teams not oversigning? Mark Dantonio disciplining his criminal players? Buckeye fans NOT sucking?

So, will it be a fiercely-contested game between two top ten teams, or will Bama be on probation and Wiscy have gone down a couple of notches by then?  The best of both worlds would be a strong Wiscy team against a Bama team on probation with a new coach and limited schollies.
