Denard LOSING EA Sports vote

Submitted by dmoo4u on

Here is what TAM is doing..

going to https://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php and creating a phony Community page.

Then go to https://www.facebook.com/easportsncaafootball?fref=ts and go to the settings icon in the top right and switch to the new account and vote. You could vote 100s of times from one single fbook account. When creating the community page you dont even need to put any of the info in or click skip.. just type in a name and create the page..

It's over. They're seriously getting like 20 votes a second and we're getting a couple. Our only hope is that this contest gets called off due to rampant cheating.

Posted this in the other thread:

There's a video showing how the cheat is done. TAMU fans started doing it yesterday when Denard was up 16k. They were absolutely cheating. I was up from 4AM-5AM studying and during that time Swope gained over 1000 votes more than Denard. Those votes happening in the middle of the night are not legit, obviously that's impossible. Don't know how to embed so I'll leave link (embed please?):

What I question is where is our support.... 1million fans of Michigan Football on facebook, Tons showing up on here. We NEED more spreading!

Post Vote for Denard on the front page!

Yell around campus!

Tell everyone at Blimpy Burger tomorrow!

Scream at people at work to vote!

Spread the word! We should be ashamed at only 150k (with few cheaters ourselves, cause we are not innocent either honestly)

Yeah man, it doesn't matter. The strength of our fanbase was shown when Denard was winning for weeks when the votes were still legit. However many real people we get to vote now will just be cancelled out by some TAMU fan cheating because they have nothing better to do.

Chill people.  This is not something that matters.

EA will decide whether they want to keep it one vote based on who they think will sell more games on the cover (if they even have a strong preference).  If anything, being dedicated enough to cheat might make them more inclined to accept the vote despite not following the "rules."

And throw their game right back at em. Damn it I want this. It'll be beautiful to see these covers on sale in Columbus South Bend and East Lansing.

Fast, white WR or blazing, black, dreaded QB/RB/WR wearing an iconic helmet with his laces untied. If they cheat and win - whatever, that's just a bad decision in my opinion. Anyone who pays even a small amount of attention to college football knows Denard just by first name. This other cat is a nobody.

cheated in this voting process. A&M voters have tons of fake names but on the Michigan side so do we. I honestly believe both at this point should be disqualified and either Lacy or Barner chosen. This is getting out of control and EA will notice.

This is totally a SEC v BIGTEN battle morphing onto facebook. They are oversigning votes and doing it with SPEED, while we are voting at an honorable 1 vote for 1 person and doing it at a slower, steady pace. I think we should enlist the help of the texaslonghorn fanbase. I'm sure they'd be willing to help..

TAMU's cheating has gotten them a ridiculous 40,000 "votes" in two hours. Denard's only hope is that EA is aware of the cheating and realizes that he was 10,000 votes ahead of TAMU before it started. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

When they say "The South will rise again" they mean to be tools of EA Sports FB page. I wouldn't be surprised if EA was doing this themselves just to keep people talking about this for one more day.

This contest has become a complete joke. Anyone who has taken Stats 101 can see that the vote has become extremely skewed in a way that is only explainable by manipulation.  EA should void all votes from fan pages and award Denard the cover, but they probably won't given the fact that they are a shit company that has been cranking out the same shitty game for a decade. I feel sorry for people who still buy their crap.

We shouldn't try to outcheat TAMU. Better to let their guy win and blast EA with tweets and e-mails that we refuse to purchase a sports game with a cover that personifies cheating.

Anyone with a good working knowledge of the dangers of online voting might've predicted how Denard Robinson's 16,000 vote lead over Ryan Swope could quickly evaporate in less than 24 hours and eventually turn into a landslide victory for Swope.  The Takeaway:  This may become evidence when Congress next considers changes in voting methods for political elections. EA Sports: It Rigged The Game!

It really makes me wonder, why don't they do regional covers? Denard can be the Midwest and east, geno smith could be the southeast, Matt Barkley (poor example) could be the west. That way, if you are a fan of MSU or OSU, you could order one without Denard on it, and ea's sales would prolly go up knowing how intense college football rivalries are... Just my humble opinion, not that it matters much.

To just hack EA's Facebook/website and declare Denard the winner by all of the points?
