I'd say venting frustrations on a message board with people across the world is a much better way to ease your tensions than mannny other ways I could think of.

Yeah, and death by electrocution is better than death by hanging, drawing and quartering. That it's not the worst thing in the world doesn't make it a good thing,

Here's a simple rule to follow: if you're going to post something imflammatory, reflect for a second before you hit the "Save" button: "Do I really want to put this message out there?"  If you can't answer affirmatively, don't send it.

It happens to the best of us - especially when we relate the basketball season with football (where a couple of bad losses hurts you to a much greater extent). We just need to realize that except for the truly great teams (and there are possibly 2 or 3 at most per year), every school is going to have atleast a couple of clunkers per year. The basketball season is long and especially hard when you are in a brutal league with a young team. You just hope to win your games at home and try to win about half the games on the road - and then you sit back and hope the chips fall your way during march madness!

In celebration of still being in control of our destiny going into the final regular season game, there is a goodly supply of Hacker-Pschorr and Strongbow Cider in the surviving snow near the patio. Enjoy, or at least, have some before I consume it.

Only one chore left before postseason play - beat the Hooisers.

MULTIPLE-TEAM TIE
1. Results of head-to-head competition during the regular season.
A. When comparing records against a single team or a group of teams, the higher winning percentage shall prevail, even if the number of games played against the team or group are unequal (i.e., 2-0 is better than 3-1); in the case of tied percentages vs. the team or group of 1.000 or .000 the following shall apply: 2-0 is better than 1-0; 0-1 is better than 0-2.
B. After the top team among the tied teams is determined, the second team is ranked by its record among the original tied teams, not the head-to-head record vs. the remaining team(s).
2. If the remaining teams are still tied, then each tied team's record shall be compared to the team occupying the highest position in the final regular-season standings, continuing down through the standings until one team gains an advantage.
A. When arriving at another pair of tied teams while comparing records, use each team's record against the collective tied teams as a group (prior to their own tie-breaking procedures), rather than the performance against the individual tied teams.
3. Won-loss percentage of all Division I opponents.
4. Coin toss conducted by the Commissioner or designee.
