Since I'm at work, am watching GameCast, which is absolutely nerve-wrecking.

At this point in time, I'm expecting "Trey Burke misses layup" then "Trey Burke offensive rebound" and finally "Trey Burke made three point jumper, assisted by (yours truly) Trey Burke (hello it's me again)".

Burke-a-mania?

we won because we wanted it enough.  we played hard, fought back, and deserved to win.

Another momentum builder.

Hello Hoosiers.  Hello Championship Sunday!

Its okay, guys!!! This was all part of the plan!!! They just wanted a more dramatic victory!!! And it's home and neutral court from here on out!!! We've got this!

But seriously, happy for the win, but let's never talk about this game ever again.

so it's only fair to admit that Nik's clutch FTs showed a mental toughness that I didn't think he had.  The 3 was a big momentum shot, but repeated FTs are a real test of a player's head.  There's not bodies flying all around to distract you.  Well done, Nik.

Was not feeling well about this game at the ~12:00 minute mark (2nd half), but I guess who was?  Sh*t though, the team responded (Trey primarily) and got their asses in gear.  Terone Johnson kept doing his thing but other than him no other Purdue guys were hurting us after that.  Stole one there, I don't think there's any doubt about that, but that's what good teams do.  They rally, and unlike Penn St., they didn't fully collapse and played through the tough spell(s).  On to the next, on, on to the next one.

the country - going to win it all.  My negative comment earlier in this thread was merely a brilliant use of reverse psychology on my part.....I'm a friggin genius

This win was important. Will we win NCAAs, probably not, but it gives the kids something to build on; a quality-come-from-behind-on-the-road-win-against-a-team-with-nothing-to-lose victory.
