Meta: Hello: LSAClassOf2000 (MGoPoints prize inside)

Submitted by justingoblue on

Doing my best Ace impression, I'd like to welcome the first commit for the Moderator Class of 2013, long-time user and well known board statistician, LSAClassOf2000. A prolific diarist with seemingly endless uses for tables, graphs and charts of all kinds, LSA comes highly touted by three of the four services, the lone outlier, ESPN, incorrectly projected him to defensive tackle. MGoBoard is believed to be his only offer, although uncommitable offers were reported from select scarlet and grey sites.

In all seriousness, I'm excited to work with LSA and believe MGoBoard picked up a valuable addition. With Trey Burke Trey Burke'ing Sparty last night, it's been a good couple days on the site, and this is an opportunity to share any cool stories about the game, the impending postseason, anything else sports related or just generally anything cool, fun or unique. If MGoPoints are your thing, LSA will be using his newfound functionality to adjust a user's points upward an undetermined amount for an undetermined reason, so get creative if you're interested.

I hope to remember you just the way you are now. Y'know, just 'gruntled.' Before the MGoInternetz has its way with you, haha

Srsly, congratulations

First, I welcome LSAClassof2000, whose ability to produce relevant knowledge leads me to believe that he is an android - and I say that affectionately.

On to the unique...

I once had to have my ulnar nerve un-trapped because it was pinched down by something called the Ligament of Struthers, which it turns out only 1-4% of the population has.  Darwin wrote about it because he thought it showed a common ancester between humans to other animals, specifically marsupials. In other words, my hand was going number because I have a kangaroo ligament in my arm.  Surely this is worth 7.5-11.5 Mgopoints.

Cow Udder Eclairs

12 fresh lean cow udders

1 pint of whipping cream

1 cup of brown sugar

1 can artichoke hearts

1 stick butter

1 small filleted smelt

1 container of Nair

Soak the cow udders in Nair to remove the hair. Repeat several times if necessary until all hair is removed. Rinse in warm water. Place a stick of butter into a warm frying pan. Wait until all of the butter has melted, then add the cow udders. Fry them for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Chop the artichoke hearts and smelt on a cutting board into fine pieces. In a large bowl, add the whipping cream, brown sugar and the chopped artichokes and smelt. With a mixer on low, whip until creamy with a consistency like vanilla pudding. Remove the udders from the pan and make a long slice down the side of each udder. Spread the pudding mixture into each slit. Serve warm or cold and have an "Udderly Wonderful" snack.
