Michigan Basketball vs. MSU Open Thread
I just thought that is what he looked like
I liked what I saw as far as effort and intensity in the first half. If the random breaks balance out in the 2nd, we should be ok. Oh yeah, and repeat along with me, "I believe the 3's will start falling soon. I believe the 3's will start falling soon. I believe the 3's..."
We were 0-6 on threes, getting out-rebounded 21-13, and are only down 3? Sorry I missed the first half because I can't imagine how we're this close.
Spartans will what? Burn couches?
to step up for our boys
Caris Defense > Stauskas Defense...just saying. I'm sorry to see he got hurt but maybe LeVert's D will help us throughout this game
If we are going to give up 50%+ on threes, I don't understand why we don't play more zone. At least we would be able to stop all these lay ups and get some defensive rebounds. If you are going to be bad at defense, at least be bad at one thing (3 point shooting), not bad at everything.
I don't know anything about basketball so...
Is it harder to play zone when they have Nix and Payne in the game at the same time?
Was Nik a dirty play?
Wow.
Love it.
Good defense, but you gotta finish on offense.
and LaVert
or, get a rebound.
All that said, I like the intensity after the break. Just got to finish.
We need to keep being aggresive so we get them in foul trouble
got to take advantage
Yup. Offensive foul for sure.
Wow, another offensive foul called on them? I'm shocked.
Now, let's get Payne to pick up his third.
I think the fact that Levert is being pushed into the starting lineup is a blessing in disguise. Really like the athleticism he adds and the fearless way he plays.
I thought the MSU inbounder just threw it right out of bounds haha.
I can't wait to make our first 3!!!
