Michigan vs Ferris State: Open Thread

Submitted by Sac Fly on

It's our last series in the CCHA, Michigan takes on Ferris at 7:35. No unusual lineup moves tonight, Sparks and Chiasson out, Szuma and Selman in. Racine in net.

Televised on CBS College tonight

were absolute garbage... The official who called the elbowing on Trouba was nowhere near the play and could only see the backside of Trouba, so how he called that nonsense is beyond me (FWIW, I'm completely biased and the play happened right in front of me). As for the second call, the whole play should have been stopped for an interference call on Ferris State. Oh well...

Michigan needs the next goal. The 2nd period has been a storm all season. If they lead after 2, they should win.

Holy crap, what has gotten into this team lately? It's a shame that it is probably too late to matter, but they are really showing their potential now. 4-1 lead now.

and they are finally coming together. Playing with more intensity, crisper passing, better attacking of the net, better defense and goaltending. Yep, I just went through all the cliches but they're all true.

Racine in particular looked great in warmups and just seems relaxed out there tonight.

Probably too little, too late this season, but at the very least I'm starting to feel a little better about next year even though we could see alot of departures

the end sadly. But if they can make a push then best of luck to them. Would be awesome to see us rise from the dead and win the CCHA. GO BLUE.

A win tomorrow and a notre dame win over bowling green, and Michigan will get home ice.

More importantly, I want the seniors to be sent off with a win. Plus it's Michigan's final game in the CCHA that will count towards their conference record. Playoff games don't count as an all-time conference standing.
