Let's Go Blue!
I wonder if we will continue our good play from last weekend.
U-M scores first!
WOOOOOOO 1-0 EARLY ON!!
Hyman jumped on that rebound.
Always good to see the goalie making sharp plays early.
#Gongshow
2-0!!!
They came to play tonight, no messing around.
That was DeBlois from Copp?
Maybe making a run in the conference tourney isn't so crazy after all. Although we would have to score 5-6 goals a night most likely.
Damn, thought we had another one there.
Dammit, stay out of the damn box!
Shit, they score on the PP, 2-1.
Not sure what it looked like live, but the radio announcers are less than impressed with the last two penalty calls.
were absolute garbage... The official who called the elbowing on Trouba was nowhere near the play and could only see the backside of Trouba, so how he called that nonsense is beyond me (FWIW, I'm completely biased and the play happened right in front of me). As for the second call, the whole play should have been stopped for an interference call on Ferris State. Oh well...
One thing no one will miss about the CCHA. CCHA Officials.
I upvoted this as "funny" but I would have voted this as "sad" if that were an option. This is sad but true.
Big Ten head ref: steve piotrowski
same gongshow -- different league. And from one of Pio's former fellow CCHA official buddies -- he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Copp goes hard to the net and draws a penalty.
Good things are happening!
We're almost done with the 2nd period and Ferris has no fight in them. Michigan is bringing it and Ferris is still flat.
A belated GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!! for Moffatt. 3-1 U-M!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
(Damn lousy time for my browser to lock up.)
Another PP for us.
Fuck, there goes the PP.
MSU lost to WMU tonight, they will finish last in the CCHA and have to play Alaska in the 1st round.
Moffie! 4-1!!!!
Holy crap, what has gotten into this team lately? It's a shame that it is probably too late to matter, but they are really showing their potential now. 4-1 lead now.
and they are finally coming together. Playing with more intensity, crisper passing, better attacking of the net, better defense and goaltending. Yep, I just went through all the cliches but they're all true.
Racine in particular looked great in warmups and just seems relaxed out there tonight.
It's good to see them playing well, which you want going into the postseason. But I wonder where the hell this level of play was earlier.
Better late than never.
Gong Show.
Sigh, Trouba back in the box.
and outrage--wait, why is no one standing in surprise and outrage?
For those watching, is Ferris really getting away with a lot in the last part of third? Radio says we are getting hosed by the refs pretty hard.
and we still got most of the third period penaties.
Icing? And on your PP? LOL.
Lake Superior is losing 3-1 with 1 minute left. Michigan will jump them in the standings and be in 8th place.
BG lost, so we're tied with them in 7th.
But if the season ended tonight, we would finish in 8th.
I presume you meant seed, then.
WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Do it again tomorrow!
Probably too little, too late this season, but at the very least I'm starting to feel a little better about next year even though we could see alot of departures
The incoming freshman class is going to be one of the best we have had in a long time.
A win tomorrow and a notre dame win over bowling green, and Michigan will get home ice.
More importantly, I want the seniors to be sent off with a win. Plus it's Michigan's final game in the CCHA that will count towards their conference record. Playoff games don't count as an all-time conference standing.
