Juventus currently lead Celtic 1-0

PSG leads Valencia by the same scoreline.

Good day for the away sides so far.

The BIG game is tomorrow though, Real vs Man Utd

but Messi is and will be the greatest when he's done.  Pele can screw himself (which he'd probably do if he could considering his ego).

Okay mean part is over.   I love Cesc, and am glad he is back home, but my nod probably goes to Xavi.  Guy can create scoring opportunites like no one else.

That rivalry is more than two American football teams who hate each other meeting in November. It intersects political, religious, and traditional differences. Some of these differences go back centuries in England, Scotland, and Ireland. A Celtic win further advances their political agenda, and that is not something I support. So it's a lot more complicated than despising a conference as a whole. That is why I will never offer any support for Celtic.

Have been following online since I am at work but it looks like Celtic just ha happen to them what Celtic and rangers try to do every year when they get to this level: sit back, get dominated, take advantage of their few chances.

Well, once you've beaten Barcelona, getting motivated to play a team of mere mortals may be too much to expect.  'Salright, then...Champions League play after New Year's is unheard of in the SFA these days...glad it was Celtic representing.

It's harsh, but studs-up tackles are essentially always red card offenses. They fall under "serious foul play" and aren't really subjective in nature. If you're going to call a penalty on Ibra in that last minute, it's going to be a red. The only time you'll see a studs-up challenge get a yellow card is if the challenge was very close to the ball. Ibra was miles from connecting with the ball. I'm not surprised he got a red, he's the same player who kicked multiple teammates in the head at AC Milan (apparently for fun... Once he kicked a teammate in the head during a TV interview). He has got to be more disciplined in his challenges. Ultimately I still think PsG goes through.

Wow, what a dramatic ending at the Mestalla. Valencia still need to grab 2 goals is Paris, but that is not impossible.

Edit: Goals not gals...

Such a demoralizing loss for Celtic. Put everything into it. Now I fear they'll be on the end of a real pasting in the return leg.

to give up football for Lent was a bit rash.  No matter...they've given a good account of themselves overall...I'm used to them being out of the UEFA (sorry, EUROPA) Cup at this point of the campaign, so this year was a nice distraction.  We'll always have the Barca tie.
