You clearly did not read my comment above so I'll repeat.  I'm a very important person and, as such, people obviously listen to me.  My people just ran the numbers and they expect the amount of court-rushers to decrease by 56.6666% over the next five years just from my statement above.

(FYI - on message boards, people post thoughts and opinions.  I don't think anyone here expects to really change how others operate on a day-to-day basis.)

Why be for it? What good comes from it? Getting to touch the court? Big deal. Getting to be near the players? Big deal? Getting to cheer and dance around with your friends? You can do the same thing in the stands. I just don't get the draw of it, and I've been to some pretty epic games in my lifetime. But I guess different strokes for different folks. That is, until people get hurt.

It can be a dangerous pratice. I was actually a little worried for our players Saturday.

But why "during a regular season game?"  I mean, if you don't during the regular season, when can you rush the court? During the Tournament made up of fans of other teams?

That Evan Turner shot never should have counted anyway. The ball was inbounded and the clock didn't start until about two seconds after he had the ball, so we should have won that game. I don't care at this point since that was a while ago and this year is all that matters, but still, we should have won that game.

We lost, but then again, when people celebrate like that after beating Michigan, it means we are important again, would they have celebrated like this 3-5 years ago? Not saying I want to continue to see this happen, but just saying...GO BLUE!

Ya I agree.  I had to have a tiny glimmer of happiness when they rushed the court.  They rushed the court for beating Michigan basketball.  I mean before the inexorable upward march that followed the anurism of leadership wou would have ever thought that was possible?

UM would celebrate that much if they were unranked and beat a top 5 Wisconsin team in OT at home.

that is not going to happen any time soon, since Wisconsin is allergic to top rankings

Oh, I wanted salt in my wound and kicked in the dick again... All to go along with my Monday morning.

Edit:  Just to be clear, that's salt into a dick wound, then kicked in aforementioned dick.

guys, if Wisconsin won by like 7 or 8, you wouldn't see this celebration. the celebration is mostly because they stole a win with a half court shot. you are placing too much emphasis on michigan here.

I am ashamed of how butthurt our fan base is...do any of you realize the biggest game of the season is TOMORROW? I understand Saturday sucked but all is not lost.

at IU. The most important remaining road game of the season is tomorrow. And I think u need to give people some slack...to steal a road game in BIG this season against one of the top 5 teams in the league would have been huge. To lose, in OT, with some questionable calls...is tough. To know that u lost to a team that celebrates listening to Kesha...well that just plain wrong.
