Kansas has already worn them this season in all blue if anyone missed that game. I don't mind the jersey when you look at it in a picture, but I have a feeling I'm going to dislike them for the same reason that I disliked our bowl uniforms: you can't tell who the hell is doing things because the numbers are invisible on TV. That said, probably not as big of a deal with basketball.

And why is no one asking the important question? Is Burke going to play with his shoelaces untied? (/s in case that is necessary)

Meh.  These could be worse and I like having uniform variety in basketball.  They really need to pick themselves up and beat Ohio to gather momentum for a couple tough road games.

Shoes... Meh.  Jerseys... Not bad actually, but our original maize are way better.  All that matters to me, though, is some revenge. And I'm not talking typical revenge, I'm talking 20 blowout tomorrow... LET'S GO BLUE... BEAT OHIO

Because we lost the first game, I wasn't surprised to hear of this.

If we win in them, I wouldn't be shocked to see them come out again vs. IU.

some kid had shoes of a different color and decided to spray paint them.  Phew.  Oh well, first world problems and so on yada yada tradition yada yada.

I dragged you on a three-week expedition through the Himalayas just so we could see the Great and All Knowing Swami of Samibhanjyanchandranekasar and get answers to the most important questions in life, and you ask

Why are the socks white?

Why are the socks white?

Why are the socks white?

Cannot believe you burned all 3 of the questions.  I hope you're happy.

I wish, just once uninformed message board posters and bloggers would stop blaming Dave Brandon for uniforms.

He's an athletics director. This doesn't fall under his job description. Just because he's the only person you can name in the entire athletics department doesn't mean it's his fault.

For the record. Uniforms have A LOT more to do with the teams and coaches than they EVER do with the AD.

Mr. Brandon is the only one who can get us a new contract, not players or coaches. It most certainly is under his job description, maybe delegated to someone else to handle, but still in his wheelhouse.

Thanks for calling me uninformed though.

but the majority of you have to stop getting your panties in a bunch.  The only difference between these jerseys and our normal maize ones (which are amazing btw) is that the Michigan and number are not filled in with blue.  Is that really the end of the world?

Stauskas and a couple other players have already voiced their opinion on the shoes, calling them "cold" (that means he approves of them).  If the players like them and are excited to wear them, what's the big deal?  Beat Ohio!

As bad without the shoes. How often do you look at a man's shoes?

On the other hand, the guys wear different shoes from each other each game. hopefully, some do not wear these

Nope that's not a big enough departure to be upset. Now if we get those Nike jerseys with the stupid barely visible designs on the back then I'll be angry (Duke, OSU etc).

I'd say the answer is no, but not by much. Personally, for some reason I can't see the pics of the uniforms on my work computer, but I would second the opinion of the person who voice their love for the old fab five maize uniforms. Personally, those are my favorite of all basketball uniforms.

I do like the current maize uniforms though, so I can't see myself having an issue with these ones if they are similar.
