I thought there might even be a chance that Michigan would drop below Duke, but I guess getting hammered by Miami (FL) is still hurting them, rankings-wise.  I will say that Michigan easily has the best losses, if you like that view.

Here's to a great week of winning Michigan basketball this week!

And, for the record, I'm SO glad the next 3 games are all on ESPN, as I've been traveling to the east coast every week this year and it's been a pain not having access to BTN!

Indiana is at Columbus on Sunday, so a loss in their immediate future is a distinct possiblity.  In fact, of their remaining 9 games, only 4 are at home, and they still have road games a Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, and MSU.  I don't see them running the table the rest of the way.

...have staked a claim at the top for at least a week.  It's been a long journey to climb all the way back up there since 92-93 and good to have that monkey off the back so to speak.

But at this point, I've enough confidence in the team that there's no point sweating the politics of voting polls.  Just hoping for a Big Ten championship and a deep tourney run now.  Whatever it takes to achieve those goals (even if it's not as pretty as undefeated seasons & #1 rankings) will make this Wolverine happy.

All things considered, we have not left the Top 5 in either the AP or the Coaches' Poll all year, and considering where we were not all that long ago, I will definitely take that and roll with it. Further, save for one week early in the season,  I believe our RPI ranking has never left the top 10, which is also spectacular really.
