I hate that B1G refs make me wonder more about how they are going to call the game in the 2nd half than the adjustments we need to make

If you'd told me we'd shoot like shit, Indiana would be on fire from long range, but we'd be down four at half, I'd have called you an idiot homer. Wow.

I said when we were down 11 at the 8 minute timeout that we'd weathered the storm and the goal should be to finish the half down by less than 8. That shot by Burke was HUGE. It really seems like we are the better team

This game has been OSU like, a major difference is we came back sooner before the half.

IU's shooting had to die down at least a little. Nik and Glen need to start scoring to offset the refs letting Zeller to whatever the hell he wants. And pray that IU's 3 point shooting goes down in the second half.

I haven't been posting in this thread...and I won't in the 2nd half either.

But I was literally misty eyed in the pre-game.

Guys, think about the last time Michigan played in a game that matter THIS much?

This is awesome. Everyone in the nation is watching this game and MICHIGAN is playing.

We're more than relevant again...we're elite.

This is so much fun, I miss caring THIS much. I miss being nervous before games.

Thanks to this team, we have that back. GO BLUE!

Burke's three was huge.  I'll take it, only down by four points.

In summary:

Michigan -

FG% - 40.0% (14-35)

3PT% - 18.2% (2-11)

FT% - 100% (2-2)

Indiana -

FG% - 53.8% (14-26)

3PT% - 50% (5-10)

FT% - 60.0% (3-5)

The three pointers and the rebounding have been huge thus far. Some second-chance shots and the odd three-pointer would be nice adjustments, but we're definitely not out of it. There is no game on Michigan's schedule which is not winnable.

Go Blue!

I think Indiana's shooting will cool down in the second half, but they will also stop turning the ball over so much. We need to stop relying on the 3 so much and keep up the good defense that was starting to be played at the end of the half.

Awesome way to shut up the Indiana crowd going into halftime Burke!

Michigan started cold, but they rallied and came back FAST! Down 4 at half is really good for how the game went. Indiana was FLAWLESS to start the game 4/4 from three not missing any shots holy shit.

Michigan wins this game by a little because they fixed their mistakes and rallied earlier than after the half. Book it.

IU won't turn it over so often in the second half, but they won't shoot as well either. We won't shoot so poorly. Stauskus has to come off the bagel. Play D, don't foul, we win.

This team always comes out with a run at the beginning of the second half.  They already have the momentum here.  Get GRIII or Stauskas an open look that goes down, and we'll roll.

In that game we couldn't even GET a shot let alone MAKE a shot.

We played terrible. Turning the ball over, poor execution, etc.

Stop comparing this game because it's not even close.

If we make 3 of the 3's that we missed, this goes from being an "decent" half to a GREAT half.

We played much better, IU was just ridiculous for the first 8 minutes. You can't help that...we have the potential to do the same thing. Hopefully we do in the 2nd half. But we actually played well. Even when we were down 15, we weren't playing that bad. Agaisnt OSU we played awful until halftime.

Good point. I never thought we were playing terribly today - you just kind of shrug your shoulders when a team is shooting like that. Sure, the defense wasn't great but some of those 3s were pretty tightly contested.

Against OSU we seemed completely dead for about 30 minutes and we turned the ball over way more than we ever do. Some of that is credit to their perimeter defenders which I think are the best in the country, but it mainly comes down to focus.
