Turnovers

Submitted by Dan Man on
Watching the turnover-fest of Boise State/Oregon brought back some painful memories of last season. I think that if Western is going to have a chance against us, it would be because of turnovers. I REALLY hope the coaching staff has done what they needed to do to make sure our players are focused on holding onto the ball. I know one thing: if Cissoko takes an opening kickoff to around our 18 yard line, gets tackled and holds onto the ball, I will breathe a DEEP sigh of relief. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one. No?

don't feel like starting a thread. But LaGarrette Blount should not be playing football the rest of this month. Better yet - make an example of him and sit his arse against USC and Cal. That's despicable.

Oregon and BSU are ranked and are supposed to be well-oiled machines. I was feeling a lot better about Michigan this year until I saw how sloppy this game was.

Watching Oregon's QB running the spread actually made me feel a little better. They are ranked and I think that Tate and Denard look better that he does IMO. He didn't seem to have a real accurate arm and he really was not that quick. Definitely nothing like they were used to with Dixon(He was a freak of nature though). After watching Oregon in 07 run all over UM the last time I watched them either they have slowed down or watching all this spring and fall video has got me used to watching really fast UM players. I hope it is the later. If UM can go 2-0 I believe that we will be close if not in the national polls. If we are 2-0 we are 4-0. Indiana struggled to get by Western KY today.
