Ticket Packages
Not sure if this is thread worthy but I need help finding a solution for 8 tickets together for the Nebraska game next year. We made friends with some Nebraska fans in the Big House back in 2011 and then traveled to Lincoln this year to tailgate with them and experience Big Red Nation. It was a great time and they are great people!
I feel the need to return the favor and he is telling me that he wants to bring six friends with he and his wife. How do I go about finding 8 tickets together? Price really isn't a huge factor. Thanks in advance!

8 together is going to be challenge.....even if price isnt an issue. There arent many people who buy 8 together so they're arent many selling 8 together.
My advice would be to shoot for two groups of four. You can probably get that done in the same section and while you wouldnt all be sitting together you'd be close.
Have fun!

We find that we can often find enough seats for a group (even up to 8) in our section through various sources (stubhub etc.) and often within a few rows (or even in the row) but for an alleged "premium" game like Nebraska...well, good luck to the OP on that.

Finding 8 together will be really hard. But if you can get a chance to help out any other fan base it's husker nation. Going to Lincoln was the most friendly game experience ever (pre, during, and post game).

Made lots of friends and invited them in 2013. 8 together is hard, just do two sets of 4 or stand in the student section.

if money isn't a problem, then I think you need to find some buddies and fill out a suite.

but go to a bar, that way you avoid bringing 6 Nebraska fans into the Big House for a big game. Personally, I never understood bringing opposing fans into your home stadium. Go watch it at a bar or at home, leave the Michigan tickets for Michigan fans.
Unless of course you can find 8 tickets in the Nebraska section. In which case I say go for it.

Saying "not to be a jerk" doesn't give you jerk-immunity for the next words you say. It is football, not war. Would you rather be known as a fan base that welcomes opposition fans, a la Nebraska, or the opposite (Ohio, Wisconsin)?

just don't buy tickets for a thousand of them....

I think it is also a question of how many priority points you have.
Depending on how regular, and how large, your donations are, the athletic department/ticket office may be able to do something. If $ is not the issue, I'm wondering if you're a premium ticket holder now. If you are, you can call the premium ticket line and see if there's anything they can do to help.
If not, I agree with posters above -- 2 blocks of 4 on StubHub.

Does anyone remember the home gain versus Ohio when the crowd was 60 percent them? I would suggest finding a bar. You wont find 8 seats together unless you recently donated several million to the school.

Tickets to come out. Believe it or not, by signing in right away I was able to get 8 tickets in a row for the OSU game a couple years ago.

My company, Sports Power Weekends, creates trips and experiences for Michigan fans (I am an alum). We will have options for the Nebraska game and can help your group.
Contact me through my site (http://www.sportspowerweekends.com/testimonials) and we can find a solution and get them a hotel in Ann Arbor, etc.
Went to Lincoln last year and their fans were more than hospitable. Happy to help you and your friends.
