well, certainly when you separate his games into the first 9 games and then the remaining 7 games you can make that case (despite the arbitrary nature of that division).
In terms of B1G play which is where it really counts (arguably), he is averaging (through 3 games): 13pts, 5.7reb, 1.3 ast, 1.7 stl, 0.7TOs..
For the first 3 games of B1G play he is above his season averages (or below for TOs) in all categories. Now, my point isn't, in any way, to toot this guy's horn or make him out to be an all-world player, but rather to simply disagree that he's getting (or seems to be getting) worse.

Well one team can make free throws and one cannot

Doesn't get less impressive than that in the lat minute of the game.

Did you watch the first 39?

One usually hopes that a buzzer-beating shot would at least hit something on its flight other than the floor...

that despite the win for Sparty tonight, they don't seem to be as disciplined a team the past 2-3 years like they used to be? They make some bonehead mistakes quite often anymore.
They used to play such a solid brand of BBall, but not so much now IMO.

The cumulative odds of sweeping Michigan State this year, based on current numbers, are still better than 50%. I'll take it. Actually, of the teams in the conference we play twice, other than Northwestern, MSU is the most vulnerable by most projections. That works for the stats nerd in me.

A replica of a forest background, right?
Yeah, it's annoying as hell, I'm so tired of this crap, Boise and their blue field and E. Wash with their red field and this Oregon BBall Court mess is just stupid. All the Uniformz thing too, silly as shit , but it makes money and we gotta keep up, whatever. they don't care what I think, why should they.
Green Football Fields and a normal looking BBall Court is okay enough and recognizable, stop the madness, who the F*** am i watching?

Agree, except about Boise's turf - they've had that for like 30 years now. It's their thing.

Still stupid and ugly as f$&@. But as you said, it's all about appealing to the whims of high school kids nowadays. At some point you have to draw the line though. Shit is getting unbearable.

This game is over barring a OU meltdown.

This weekend is gonna be huge for analysts to compare Duke and Michigan. Duke beat Ohio State at home, Michigan beat NC State at home. I know the matchups aren't exact but seeing how we fare with OSU and they fare with the Wolfpack will be interesting.

St. Mary's is starting to rally a comeback.

Wow, seriously. Is there going to be an open thread every single night? So lame.
