Craig Roh is Starting
I was just looking over the traveling team roster (aka who stays in the hotel in AA before the game) with a current player and was informed that Craig Roh has taken the starting job away from Herron (in this past week of practice). I haven't seen this posted on the board or on the main page. I am sorry I don't have a link to another site.
Oh and Michigan is bringing back the tradition of watching a movie as a team in the hotel on Friday nights. The movie is chosen by the captains for those who care.
One last thing is Fitzgerald Toussaint is the biggest name on the not dressing list.

+1 great info!

This is either really god or really bad. Anytime a freshman beats out a player thats been there it concerns you. But maybe he's the real deal, I thought he had to fill out a little more before he played, but hey, he wasn't Arizona's best player for nothing.

RR is all about daily competition...to him and his staff "who it is" or how they were recruited etc. doesnt matter... what matters is who is working harder, producing more and earning the job.
That is a refreshing change that we will all eventually LOVE at the University of Michigan.
It is more like what Bo did back in the day.

Wow. I thought Herron had the job easily. This is what competition does.

What does Barwis read to them for the bedtime story?

Duh, The Art of War.

Wow, thank you for this. It has been a long, long, time.

he'll probably sing them a lullaby similar to this one:

Dang it! Not you again!

I am a little skeptical about this. Wouldnt RR have said he was starting on the Coaches show? Im not saying your lying, Im just waiting to see comformation.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:05 PM ^
So am I. He only has 39 points. Not saying he's lying, but I think we would've heard about this by now. Surprising if true.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:15 PM ^
What does him having 39 points have anything to do with the amount of information he possesses?
Edit: NVM, seems like everyone is skeptical. My bad.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:18 PM ^
Your question is still valid. I'm not sure what his point total has to do with anything.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:21 PM ^
I think if someone that we know is knowledgeable, like The Other Brian, or who has provided accurate inside info in the past, like Raback Omaba, it's easier to trust them. How do we know this isn't a troll? Not saying he's wrong, just that it seems unlikely.

MGoPoints correlates with intelligence, insider info, penis size, etc...
Edit: Please calibrate your sarcasm meters.

Great. According to my point total I'm borderline retarded and hung like a tic-tac.

"You are as good as what your record is."
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:12 PM ^
I am a bit skeptical myself... but this is what i was told from someone who is closer to the program. I just figured I would inform the rest of the MGoCommunity.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:23 PM ^
for the post. Glad to have it, even if it turns out your source ends up being wrong, it's more than we knew yesterday.
Based on Roh's dad's comments over the last few days, sounds like Craig Roh is quite a workhorse. We already knew he had a lot of talent.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:28 PM ^
In no way, shape or form does MGoBlog Points correlate with knowledge about our team. That's just absurd.

nice edit/save
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:59 PM ^
That's what it's for.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:01 PM ^
Damn I really wanted Herron to take hold of the quick position (he's a Texas kid). Congrats Roh; time to step up and wreck havoc on Western Michigan.
September 4th, 2009 at 10:44 AM ^
I really wanted the better football player to win the quick position
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:05 PM ^
If Roh plays more than Herron and it's not because of an injury I'll +1 everything you say. With that said I highly doubt it.

Just saying - Farside is the guy that came on here and said that Wermers left because the florida kids were theives. Take him with a grain of salt.

Thief - cocaine dealer, not much difference I guess

I thought it was thief. He took the money and didn't deliver any nose candy.

never mind
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:08 PM ^
I'm new to this site, where do you get the information about who travels to the hotel and who isn't dressing, etc.?
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:09 PM ^
Your imagination.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:13 PM ^
I was visiting my friend and it was just laying out... it had like the schedule for the weekend, the room numbers of the players and staff at the hotel, and the list of who wasn't dressing.
September 3rd, 2009 at 10:01 PM ^
That's not creepy in the slightest.
September 3rd, 2009 at 9:09 PM ^
Well doesn't Fitz still have a busted shoulder? I wouldn't expect him to dress or travel all year.

I was told it happened during this current week of practice. That was written before.
September 4th, 2009 at 7:51 AM ^
so I don't think that would be the final depth chart. I'm curious how "someone who is closer to the program" but not IN the program would possess the final, real depth chart, though.
September 4th, 2009 at 10:42 AM ^
i said i got the information from a current player... how is that not in the program?
