Would be thrilled if he stays.

Nothing hits home to recruits like watching players from their prospective colleges get selected in the lottery on draft day. We have offensive line talent at Michigan. Lewan needs to get his money and represent us well in the league! Congratulations Taylor!!

Way too many guys leaving college early nowadays, but Lewan would not be one of them.  It's hard to argue that he should stick around.  It's the Shantee Orrs and Ernest Shazors that screw up by leaving early.

Post a tweet yesterday or Monday saying something to the effect that his return to AA was going to be a short trip, leaving Thursday, etc? Figured that was it right there...

If he stays though, he can guarantee a shot at being the First O-linemen off the board... Right now he's projected third after Loeckel (sp?) and Chance Warmack of Alabama... It's a win/win either way... I think he leaves this year as his hometown team is projected to pick him in most mock scenarios...

He stayed at Michigan for four years and became a dominant player. I think he's ready, but I sure as hell wouldn't complain if he came back.

If anybody is quirky enough to turn down millions, it could be him. Everybody knows he should go, and he knows he has every reason to go ... but I think a guy like Taylor might enjoy being a kid enough to stay in college. I don't know what his financial situation is, but he strikes me as a guy who'd love everything that goes along with being a college student. He's probably gone, but I'd give him a better chance to stay than most people with his draft potential.

Like one of the previous posters replied, wouldn't shock me to see him stay.  ND and UM seem to carry kids that care about their school and would love nothing more than to compete for championships.

Wasn't Long in almost the exact position? Top-15 or so pick? And he decided to come back an ended up going 1. Maybe Lewan wants that last shot at a B1G championship. And to cement himself as an all-time great at Michigan. Weirder things have happened.

I've thought all along he was gone, but remember Jake Long? Sure first rounder, stayed for his love for his school, and his team. Didn't stay to improve his draft stock, clearly stayed so he can finish what he committed to. Either way, I wish Lewan nothing but the best in life, I just think it may go either way...
