is just ridiculous. Of the few things you can control in a hockey game, not taking six penalty minutes in the first ten minutes of a period is a pretty god damn easy one (yes, two of those were coincidental).

This reminds me why I wasn't upset with the NHL lockout, it's painful to watch play like this.  The Wings looked similar for much of the latter half of last season.

At this point, it's about playoff positioning. Cannot finish below 8th. Need at least a home series for the first round.

I just don't get it. They beat top 10 teams by 2+ goals, and are getting beat by 3+ by the worst team in the CCHA at home....

The streak of NCAAs can still be had if we win the CCHA tourney who knows I've seen it happen before.   Just disappointing this team has talent but don't play with it.

I still cannot understand how a team with so much talent is so bad. On paper, we're still probably in the top 3 or 5 most talented team in the NCAAs but we're playing like we're not giving out scholarships in the AHA

Holy balls, how does a team have this much talent, and get their shit shoved in? Can't say it's coaching, so what the fuck is wrong with them. This should be a good team. No senior leadership? <clueless>

all season that BGSU has scored more than 3 goals in a game.  And they still have a period left.

I don't even think this team can really fight for play-off positioning, for a first round game at home, much less a bye.  I think, assuming this result tonight holds, the best Michigan can hope for is to get hot at the end, win 4/6, then 2 at the Joe.  The schedule is not set up for a second half run and if it was, these first three games (all at home and versus some pretty weak teams in Bowling Green and Alaska) have to be the time to do it.  This team CAN win, they just,,, aren't.

Hunwick, Turco, Hasek or Patrick Roy himself could make this team look that much better.  Well, maybe Patrick Roy could.  Maybe. They don't defend, they have no offense, special teams do nothing...  There's a chance trust in a goalie could engender some confidence this team BADLY lacks, which could spark something, but while goalie is a problem on this team, it's far from the only problem.

Maybe it's just the Tuesday night thing, but it's really sad to see some big gaps of empty seats.

It's bowling green. BOWLING GREEN.

I can imagine what the alumni players are saying right now. Not one shot on goal in the 3rd period. Unacceptable.

Well I don't get to see or hear many games, living in Washington, but I can't not watch them play. IDGAF if they lose 10-1, they will have, at least, 1 fan still watching.

unfocused, undisciplined, uncoordinated and unprofessional team in Michigan hockey history from what I've seen than what I'm seeing right now. They can't find each other on the ice. They can't man up defensively fucking BG player out hustles two of our defensemen to the puck WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK?! Herb Brooks would be running this team to death after the game if he was coaching. This season is over. This is more pathetic than Blue Jackets hockey. I've never seen a more shit tastic style of defense and special teams in college hockey this year like I've seen from Michigan's team right now. Pathetic. There are no other words to describe it.
