Dude is huge and legit runs like a 4.5 or something.  He's apparently a monster in 7-on-7 and can lock down WRs even though he's an LB.  That said, he could be suffering from the "Oh crap, now I'm playing against people who can actually play" type of thing that most kids who dominate lesser competition suffer from.

Yeah, there aren't a lot of quality quarterbacks in this class.  I've been saying that since I watched the "elite" quarterbacks at The Opening.  Browne is going to be good, Morris will get there eventually, and I like Brice Ramsey.  I'm sure there will be some other guys to emerge in college, but it's a weak class.

He was 4/16 for 34 yards, 0 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and 2 sacks.  I don't see how anyone could be impressed by that.

I don't think any of the quarterbacks in that game were impressive, but I'd take a few of the participants in that game over Hackenberg.

True, but he had a LOT of drops (I know... standard excuse for why one's favored QB doesn't have good stats).  Most of the QBs were no where close to their intended receivers.

Some quotes from Scout.com

"Christian Hackenberg has been the best and most consistent quarterback on either team throughout the week" - Scout National Recruiting Analyst Brandon Huffman

"about mid-Tuesday he started humming that ball like Peyton Manning.
He said he hadn't thrown much at all recently and it took him a day or so to get acclimated to football again. Once he did, it was fun to watch him throw it." - Bill Greene

Yeah, I think they originally had him at that between OSU and Lou but one of the writers said it was a no go a few days earlier. I think in the end he wanted to be at home and the win over Florida might have done that too. Moreover, with Teddy Bridgewater being able to throw a ball (we're not sure about Miller as a passer yet), Quick will be able to make some really good plays. Good pick up for the Cardinals!

11 Warriors is not the best place to look if you want an unbiased opinion.

There are still people here who think that Josh Garnett is going to pick Michigan.

People more inside than 11 Warriors expected Quick to pick Louisville.
