It'll probably be easier to just start a thread when one of our freshmen doesn't win the award.

... I went for 5 of 50 3 pointers at my local gym. I'm kinda like Stauskas, except the opposite.

....or it didn't happen. Evidence of Anti-Stauskas abilities must be shown.

Can't really be surprised about the play of the rest of our big names (although they all have certainly performed at or above a level I was hoping to see), but Stauskas has been a real surprise in terms of the quality and consistency of his play. Incredible that with Horford and Hardaway injured, there did not seem to be much drop-off (against pretty weak competition). Hopefully Hardaway's injury is of the "bo boo" variety, and he's being given the rest because we can afford to have him out against lesser teams.
I expect Stauskas's shooting percentage will drop as we hit B10 play, and understand that he will have to really make strides defensively. Still, his shooting is well beyond what I expected, and the ability to move the ball, and rebound are significant plusses.

So who's the top frosh in the B1G? Stauskas? GRIII? Harris? Ferrell? Dekker? Hammons? Olah? Someone I'm forgetting? My vote today would be for Stauskas, but the important evidence will be provided with intra-league play.

It's hard to choose between Stauskas and GRIII, they play different roles for the team. Even McGary and Levert deserve some love.

Even when he isn't going for three, Nik gets three. This is indeed talent. Congratulations to Nik!

I would say that the top 2 freshman in the b10 are stauskas and GR3.
