Tuesday Night Drinking Thread Christmas Edition
December 25th, 2012 at 7:56 PM ^
we just killed a 13# standing rib roast, with Yorkshire pudding. Dear God, it was gooood.
Apres diner, a couple of neat bourbons (Elijah Craig followed by a Maker's 46), and 20 minutes in the hot tub. Worked up a nice sweat, now focused completely on my sister-in-law's world-class ass.
I swear to God I wanna stick my face straight in it.

Is this person you're ogling your wife's sister or your brother's wife?
December 25th, 2012 at 9:03 PM ^
Maybe it's both. Wrap your head around that.
December 25th, 2012 at 9:04 PM ^
working on the pic. Might take me a day or two. They're here all week.
December 26th, 2012 at 12:07 AM ^
I stared all night long on Xmas eve. After 10 years, it's obvious I can't look away from her ass. Nice wagons too!
December 26th, 2012 at 12:29 AM ^
...aware that you've taken an interest in her sisters derrière? This could, eventually, make for an interesting diary entry.
December 25th, 2012 at 9:37 PM ^
Isn't that what family is for?

Saved a Founders Devil Dancer.
and a Backwoods Bastard.
Followed by 6-7 Centennial Ales.
A Grand Rapidian in PA.

Nice selection. I have a 4-pack of Devil Dancer I'm saving for the wife until after she has our first kid.
As for me, I'm going to tear into this Buffalo Trace the in-laws got me. Merry Christmas!
December 25th, 2012 at 7:58 PM ^
Christmas tradition says I will be enjoying a glass of Makers Mark. It was my dads favorite drink, he always had it in his Makers glass with one ice cube. It took me some time to aquire that taste but I always drink it that way in his memory.
December 25th, 2012 at 8:15 PM ^
Great stuff. On top of that, my oldest daughter has a Christmas birthday. And she's a U-M student now. So my wife and I feel pretty blessed. Merry Christmas everyone.

Had a couple Fat Tires before, and after I finished the one I had with dinner I'll move on to my first ever bottle of scotch. My little sister got me a bottle of Ardmore Traditional Cask, which I'm told is a very good bang for the buck.
December 25th, 2012 at 8:12 PM ^
Fat tire. Had a great Christmas with my family.
December 25th, 2012 at 8:16 PM ^
Atwater java vanilla porter. It's fantastic. I had a hazelnut porter earlier today which was awful so this is a nice chance

Keeping it sort of simple - rounding out Christmas with some Paulaner Salvatore Double Bock and some leftover Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen. We cooked some of a typical English Christmas meal - the traditional (for my family anyway) turkey with roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts as well parsnips.

I had a fifth of the e.h. Taylor tornado bourbon and it was delicious. How is the small batch?
December 25th, 2012 at 8:49 PM ^
I haven't had any of the other E.H. Taylor batches so I can't compare to the others. I'm a bourbon drinker, but I'm definitely not a bourbon expert. With that said, here is my brief review.
For a 100 proof bourbon it is pretty smooth. It is much sweeter than I expected. Strong taste of wood as well. Pretty tasty, but could be more balanced.
How was the tornado. That was a bourbon I wanted to try. Great story behind it.

The in-laws are here so I had to go with what they prefer...Corona. Ugh, god help me.
December 25th, 2012 at 8:49 PM ^
Bushido Brown only drinks top micro brews from Japan.
December 25th, 2012 at 10:28 PM ^
They call it Corona because that is where it comes from. Mexican piss water.

I got a bomber of three philosophers Belgium quadrupel dated 2011 from Brewery Ommegang, and Klüdde from Brewery Vivant for Christmas. Needless to say I am excited.
Today I had some 12 from Victory, and three philosophers dated 2012. Pretty fantastic Christmas!
Now I'm watching a horrible looking basketball game (seriously here are some uniforms to complain about).
