*Seth approved names. I combined them. If this thread gets huge we could split it for te second game. But I doubt it for these. But football! And Rich and Arizona start it off vs. a bad Nevada team, followed by some more sorta local interest in Toledo vs.....Utah State. Did I say at least it's new college football?

I am SO happy to not have that tire fire of a defense anymore.  Watching this game makes me even more thankful we have Mattison and Hoke who preach the basics.  The tackling in this game has been just awful.

OT, but listening to SVP talk about the dissolution of the Big East brought up a question for me: Why do schools (in this case Nova) not want other schools in their city/state (in this case St. Joes) in their conference? It seems like it would be a great rivalry. And it just seems like it wouldn't make a significant difference in recruiting, especially in basketball where any team can win the title or at least make the final four regardless of conference affiliation.

So at this point in which I'm writing, Nevada has run 75 plays and had 32 first downs.  They're getting a first down on 42% of their plays and scored on 4 of those plays.  Wow

3 turnovers, and you still pull the game out. Now that's what I'd call a WOW experience. I'm happy for RR, but not sad at all that the guys playing for him are wearing Arizona helmets.
