Probably a good fit for him, and good for the club since they need options on offense.  Hopefully he can get a fresh start to his career (and stay off of Twitter).

A pretty silly move if you ask me. Not because Braylon won't help... I think he will. I'm just thinking it's weird to pay somebody for the last couple weeks when the season is already lost for them. They haven't had an issue sucking with the same guys when they had a chance to make a move earlier in the season when they could salvage it.. why change that now?

I still can't quite come to grips with the fact that Jason Avant has become the best/most reliable wr out of the great trio that was Avant/Breaston/Edwards.  I always watched those teams and was almost sad for Avant, thinking he would never get his due in the NFL.  I have been proved wrong.

Braylon had one of his most productive seasons with the Jets in 2010 and the Jets are actually 30th in average passing yards at an anemic (by NFL standards) 186 yards per game. They have Jeremy Kerley, Dustin Keller, and a lot of guys after that with 200-300 yards and not much to show for it. Braylon could be a good option for them a second time as well - the Jets need all the help they can get offense, as others have mentioned, as right now they've collected 2,615 receiving yards as a team and have 13 TDs to show for all that.
