I looked everywhere but couldn't find it

Looks like a lax helmet.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see a picture or link

Both the special uniforms today are prety cool, but I will be honest with two tradition-rich teams like this, I'd prefer they both wore their traditional uniforms. /getoffmylawn

Beat navy. In my opinion, this is the second best rivalry in all of sports. We all know which game is #1.

Two of my best friends are at both schools respectively so each year I root for a different one. This year it is Army. Go Army Beat Navy (and Penn State)

Navy's threads are the best "new look" uniforms I've ever seen. And those helmets are fantastic.
No particular rooting interest here but it's nice to see that Nike CAN make alternative jersey's that don't look ridiculous. Glad they decided to try that approach for the Armed Services.

Uniformzz are among the most annoying trends in college football.....but sometimes the blind squirrel finds a nut and they come out with something nice. The Navy helmets are proof.

I love the signal flags on the back of the Navy helmets, they spell BEAT ARMY. And the numbers are great, they look like the numerals on the sides of aircraft and ships.

Good catch on the signal flags. Didn't even notice them til you mentioned it. The numbers: aircraft yes, ships no.
December 8th, 2012 at 6:17 PM ^
Ah, you're right. Hull numbers are standard block numbers with a drop shadow.

Probably the best "New" helmets I have ever seen. So awesome!

Noted the naval numbering script (carriers, planes, ships) on the jerseys and back of helmets. Nice added detail.
