And Moeller was #3 in their conference, out of four teams.
That might give you an idea of how good the high school football is in Cincinnati right now, especially in the GCL.

Under 6 minutes, still 17-12...Whitmer has the ball at their own 22. This has been one helluva great game (unlike, say, the Big 10 championship).

...that it had been since 1985 when Moeller last won a state title in football. And they've had some damn good teams in the interim, but never quite managed to seal the deal. Other sports filled the void during that time (I was there during the baseball program's rise to power), but football always managed to come up JUST short.
