Rutgers vs. Louisville: De Facto Big East Championship

Submitted by WolvinLA2 on

Go Rutgers!  Rutgers is up 14-3 to start the third on 2 big plays, but they start with the ball.  Looking good on D, however.  Hopefully our future conference mate can look good and get to a BCS bowl.

Hopefully Rutgers wins and gets a favorable BCS bowl matchup. It's probably their last chance at a BCS bowl for a long, long time. (Unless they manage to run the Big East next year.)

I like the unis; level of play looks decent. Their WR is a boss. I never had as much of a problem with Rutgers as with Maryland. Rutgers somewhat/sort of fits the bill of a B1G team. Maryland not so much.

If Michigan were still a Nike school I would be looking forward to what they might come up with for the UTL game v. ND next season. But with Adidas, I'm nervous.

Just tuned in. I see that they've gone with the "F.A.M.I.L.Y" jerseys that they wore for the "blackout" against UConn back in October.

With that said, NICE FAKE....except for the ineligible receiver part. That was almost picture-perfect,  Rutgers. Liked the aggressive call all the same.

Is it just me (No, I don't think it is, I seem to remember a certain blog proprietor yearning for Louisville) but the ACC seems to have gotten the better deal this past month.  Lose the Turtles and gain a decent Louisville "program" = Basketball, football, etc.

"statement" B1G vs. ACC showdown, like "who picked up the better program?" Obviously Rutgers is much stronger academically and a bigger market blah blah but I'd like to see the future B1G beat the future ACC on the field, too. I actually just fist pumped for that Rutgers INT.

I have to say, I am quite the fan of Rutgers new helmets. Sometimes changing the uniforms can change the dynamic of a team. Worked for Tampa Bay, the Mavericks, and a number of other teams.

but really sloppy play by Rutgers.  I have a hard time seeing more than 2 conference wins for them in the near future...and that's including a win over Maryland.
