support RR by sending a letter to the following email address

Submitted by kofine05 on
there is a member at rivals who is going to send a big package of lots of support letters to RR. If you would like to write an email send it to [email protected]. Here is his post on rivals and he told me I could repost this: I apologize for the repost, but wanted to make certain this did not fall throught the cracks as it has been a long day here. If you guys want a way to show the Fort's support for RR I am willing to send him a package via express mail tomorrow. Email me your letters to [email protected]. I will print them all and send them in one package addressed to him at his office in the AD. Please try to send them in pdf format if possible. Maybe a whole stack of letters from the Fort will make a bigger impression on him about how much support he does have here. Thanks to the twenty or so Fort members who have already replied. I am hoping the rest of you guys will force me pay to ship a box instead of an envelope.

Dear Coach Rod, Michigan is in my blood. My grandmother, aunt, and father all attended U of M. Even while living in Chicago I grew up on Michigan Football above any other team. When it became time for me to further my education I only considered one university. I was one of Lloyd’s boys and I was proud to graduate from Michigan the same year Coach Carr retired. It all seemed rather fitting. A new era of Michigan Football began as I transitioned out. When I learned that it would be you that would be named our next head coach, I was ecstatic. I knew of your accomplishments at Tulane and Clemson, and I watched your teams intently at WVU. Those WVU teams stand out as some of the most exciting teams I’ve ever witnessed. I knew the transition would be rocky, although obviously not to the level to which it has played out. But with everything that has transpired; between the 3-9 season and the other distractions, my confidence in you has only grown. I appreciate that through the attacks you have taken the high road. You have not fired back; there have been no cheap shots or juvenile remarks. You have not lowered yourself, and you have in no way poorly represented the university that so many of us love. I will not pretend to know how you have taken the transition. I don’t know whether some of the scrutiny has gotten you down and seemed like more of a hassle than it’s worth. However I do know that you have a great deal of people behind you, and you have our support. Your track record proves you to be an outstanding coach, but it is through your recent actions I’ve come to appreciate even more that you are the man that leads this great program. There have been many great Michigan Men, and trust me, you belong. This is not some title that is passed down through lineage; this is a title that is earned. I know I speak for many, many people when I say thank you Coach Rod, and best of luck in the upcoming season.

I took Shredder's latest masterpiece, printed it out, wrote "RichRod.Own.Shit" on it in my blood, scanned it and sent it.

in addition to this effort, i think letters also need to go to rosenberg that clearly explain the breakdown of what qualifies as "mandatory" hours. I wouldnt want him to have to work too hard in finding this information and risk exceeding the limit of 15 minutes of research per article that the FP has enforced upon its writers. Rosenberg is clearly somone who wouldnt let something silly like accuracy or journalistic integrity cause him to violate said regulations.

I think that's great, but I'd encourage you and everyone else to write a letter. It'd take about 15 seconds to copy your FB message into a Word doc, and convert it to PDF using the link I posted below. Realistically, RR will probably not see the messages on the FB page. But with the letters, even if he doesn't get to read each individuaal one, he's going to see that huge stack, and know it represents the outpouring of support by numerous fans, and that will speak volumes... to him, and to everyone else in the AD. I hope everyone writes letters! In fact, it'd be great if Brian could post this on the main page tomorrow.

Is this guy for real? Like, is he a known/credible poster at Rivals? Just want to make sure, because I really want RR to get these and I'll send my letter myself if need be, and, if this guy is for real, I'd gladly PayPal him a couple bucks to help defray his shipping costs. Anyhow, I emailed my letter. If anyone needs a way to convert a word document to pdf: http://www.expresspdf.com/ConvertWordToPdf.aspx That's what I used, worked great.

I went ahead and emailed one. The guy is smart. I'm sure he knows the press is all about sensationalism these days, and they're going to make it seem WAY worse, like everyone hates him. The best way to show him is to go to games and cheer our asses off for him. But a letter never hurts.

as well. By the way, I emailed his assistant through a diary entry and she said she would pass on the support to Coach Rodriguez and his staff (who knows, but it can't hurt). This is probably a better way though, as I'm sure they are all busy preparing for the Western Game.
